The method includes: a step A of crushing part of the glass substrate so that a glass fragment is formed; and a step B of allowing the glass fragment to impact against the attached member so as to detach and remove the attached member from the glass substrate. This method allows an attached member attached to a glass substrate to be removed at low cost and achieves an improved yield of the glass substrate.
