摘要： A switch device includes a casing that includes a recessed bearing portion, a rotatable drive member that includes a shaft portion disposed in the bearing portion, a switch driven by the drive member, and a covering member that includes a pressing structure provided so as to press an upper portion of the shaft portion and that is secured to the casing. The covering member includes an operating portion that faces the drive member such that the operating portion is able to press the drive member and that is formed of an elastically deformable elastic material and a base portion that is secured to the casing, that is formed of a synthetic resin material, and that is integrated with the operating portion. The pressing structure is integrated with the base portion and formed of an elastically deformable elastic material.

摘要： A circuit breaker includes a main body case, an operating handle having a base portion and a knob portion protruding outwardly through a handle window frame opened in a cover of the main body case; a first shutter arranged between the base portion of the operating handle and the handle window frame, and disposed on the base portion, the first shutter being formed with a loose-fit hole to loosely fit the knob portion therethrough; and a second shutter disposed on the first shutter to move along with the knob portion. At ON and OFF positions of the operating handle, the first shutter extends beyond a front/rear edge of the handle window frame in a front-back direction to close the handle window frame, and the second shutter extends beyond a front/rear edge of the loose-fit hole in the front-back direction to close the loose-fit hole.

摘要： A foot switch which comprises a housing member defining a hollow cavity bounded by front, back and side walls with a pair of spaced apart rib members within the housing spaced intermediate the side walls. Journaled between each side wall and a rib are generally U-shaped members having a first treadle and a second operating arm. The second arms are journaled in the housing and one of the ribs and the first treadle arms are accessible without the housing and adapted to rotate the first arms upon application of pressure. A torsion spring is positioned about each of the second arms between a side wall and a rib and arranged to bias the second arms into a predetermined position. At least one switch having an actuating arm is secured in the housing member. Switch arm actuating members are also secured within within the housing to act on the switch arms and are actuated by the second arms of the U-shaped members when the first arms are depressed under foot pressure. When depressed, the first arms rotate the second arms against the bias of the torsion springs to actuate the switch actuating arms through the switch actuating members.

摘要： The protective electrical switch cover is in the form of a generally flat, flexible, resilient plate of extended surface area and with memory. Preferably, the cover is of elastomeric electrically insulative plastic and/or rubber and is unitary. It includes a generally central, hollow, protruding nipple adapted to receive the arm of an electrical switch over which the cover is to be mounted, as by an adhesive layer on the rear surface of the cover. The nipple is surrounded by a number of spaced encircling folds or rings which permit the nipple to be readily flexed in a plurality of directions in order to operate the switch arm. Thus, through the nipple, the switch arm can be rotated or flipped in a desired direction and can be pushed in and pulled out, depending on the type of switch arm involved. Moreover, the encircling folds can be depressed at a desired location to operate the switch arm if it is of the rocker type. The assembly of the present invention includes the cover mounted over an electrical switch having the protruding switch arm. The mounting area is outside of the area of the nipple and rings.
