Abstract: For example, a controller of an Active Acoustic Control (AAC) system may be configured to process input information including AAC configuration information, and a plurality of noise inputs representing acoustic noise at a plurality of noise sensing locations. For example, the controller may be configured to process the input information to determine a sound control pattern to control sound within a sound control zone based on the plurality of noise inputs. For example, the controller may include a Neural-Network (NN) trained to generate an NN output based on an NN input, wherein the NN input is based on the AAC configuration information. For example, the controller may be configured to generate the sound control pattern based on the NN output, and to output the sound control pattern to one or more acoustic transducers.

Abstract: A headset with the active noise cancellation (ANC) function includes an ANC module, a plurality of speakers, a plurality of power drive circuits, and at least one reference microphone. An output end of any one of the plurality of power drive circuits is connected to at least one of the plurality speakers. The ANC module is connected between at least one reference microphone and input ends of the plurality of power drive circuits. The at least one reference microphone is configured to collect at least one first ambient noise signal. The ANC module is configured to obtain at least one mixed audio signal. The plurality of power drive circuits are configured to perform power amplification on the at least one mixed audio signal based on respective output powers to obtain at least one power-amplified mixed audio signal.

Abstract: In at least one embodiment, an active noise cancellation (ANC) system is provided. The system includes at least one loudspeaker to project anti-noise sound in response to receiving a first anti-noise signal and at least one microphone to provide an error signal indicative of noise and the anti-noise sound. The system further includes a head tracker sensor to provide a first signal indicative of a position of a user's head and a first controllable filter programmed to modify a transfer function between the microphone and at least one remote microphone location to generate an estimated remote microphone error signal based at least on the error signal and the first signal. The system further includes a second controllable filter programmed to generate the first anti-noise signal to account for the position of the user's head at least based on the estimated remote microphone error signal.

Abstract: An electrostatic transducer including a membrane, a first electrode and a second electrode. The first electrode is disposed parallel to the membrane. The membrane is configured to respond mechanically to a varying first electric field in accordance with respective electric potentials applied between the first electrode and the membrane. The second electrode is disposed parallel to the membrane opposite from the first electrode. The membrane is configured to respond mechanically to a varying second electric field in accordance with respective electric potentials between the second electrode and the membrane. The first and second electrodes have through holes configured for acoustic transmission to and from the membrane. The housing includes: (i) a nozzle configured for acoustic transmission from the membrane through the holes of the first electrode to an ear canal and (ii) an aperture configured to provide acoustic transmission through the holes of the second electrode between the membrane and air external to the housing.

Abstract: The present invention provides an anti-snoring device based on an expansion type silencer, and proposes the technical solution from the respective of eliminating the “effect” in the causality of snoring. The anti-snoring device comprises an expansion chamber, a tube, and an active noise elimination module. The expansion chamber is connected to the active noise elimination module. The active noise elimination module further comprises a secondary sound source, a microphone, and a control module. The expansion chamber further comprises an opening for sealing and shielding the mouth and nose organ and forming an acoustic system of the expansion type silencer together with the sealed and shielded face skin. The tube is a respiratory airflow channel, and is an acoustic device having acoustic impedance different from that of the expansion chamber. In this way, the anti-snoring device provided in the utility model has the beneficial effects of being wide in applicability, large in noise elimination amount, wide in noise elimination bandwidth, small in size, light in weight, and low in electric energy consumption.

Abstract: An active noise cancellation (ANC) system is provided with at least one loudspeaker to project anti-noise sound within a passenger cabin of a vehicle in response to receiving an anti-noise signal and at least one microphone to provide an error signal indicative of noise and the anti-noise sound within the passenger cabin. An adaptive filter controller is programmed to filter the error signal to obtain a noise reduction ratio, and to adjust a step size and/or leakage parameter based on a comparison of the noise reduction ratio to a noise threshold. A controllable filter generates the anti-noise signal based on the adjusted step size and/or leakage parameter.

Abstract: A feedback noise reduction method, a feedback noise reduction system, and an earphone are provided. In the method, a channel morphological parameter of an acoustic channel between a microphone and a speaker in a feedback noise reduction system is detected; the feedback noise reduction system is switched from using a first noise reduction filter to using a second noise reduction filter in a case that it is determined that the acoustic channel is in an interfered state based on the channel morphological parameter; and a noise reduction signal is generated by using the second noise reduction filter to cancel a noise signal received by the feedback noise reduction system. A frequency response of the second noise reduction filter in a predetermined frequency band is less than a frequency response of the first noise reduction filter in the predetermined frequency band.

Abstract: In at least one embodiment, an active noise cancellation (ANC) system is provided. The ANC system includes at least one loudspeaker, at least one microphone, and a reference generator. The at least one loudspeaker projects anti-noise sound within a cabin of a vehicle based at least on an estimated reference signal and an anti-noise signal. The at least one microphone to provide a first error signal indicative of noise and the anti-noise sound within the cabin. The at least one filter controller programmed to receive the first error signal and the estimated reference signal; and to control at least one adaptive filter to generate the anti-noise signal based at least on the first error signal and the estimated reference signal. The reference generator is programmed to generate the estimated reference signal based at least on one of vehicle speed, temperature of a tire of the vehicle, or tire pressure.

Abstract: This disclosure provides methods, devices, and systems for active noise cancellation (ANC). The present implementations more specifically relate to the use of dynamic range compression (DRC) for ANC. In some aspects, an ANC system receives an input audio signal of a transient noise as measured by a microphone, performs DRC on the input audio signal to generate a compressed dynamic range audio signal, and performs ANC on the compressed dynamic range audio signal to generate a cancellation signal associated with the input audio signal. The cancellation signal is based on an adjusted gain of the input audio signal to prevent saturation or large spikes of the cancellation signal, which can cause undesirable audio during playback.

Abstract: To protect a user's privacy by reducing a malicious developer's ability to eavesdrop on unwitting HMD users by converting signals from a motion sensor in the HMD to speech or speaker recognition, a microphone can record ambient sound and voice which is subtracted from the motion sensor data before the sensor data is made available to the game developer. Additionally, ANC (active noise cancellation) techniques can be adapted to cancel noise from a motion sensor's data. In another technique, a band pass filter subtracts frequency in the sensor signals within the voice range. Still a third technique blends statistical noise into the motion sensor signal before passing to game developers to obfuscate the user's speech.
