    摘要: The present disclosure provides a pixel array, a display including the pixel array and a method for presenting an image on the display. The pixel array is composed of a plurality of basic pixel units repeated in horizontal and vertical directions. Each of the basic pixel units includes a first pixel point, a second pixel point and a third pixel point arranged from top to bottom. The first pixel point is composed of a first sub-pixel and a second sub-pixel located in two horizontal rows. The second pixel point is composed of a third sub-pixel and a first sub-pixel located in two horizontal rows. The third pixel point is composed of a second sub-pixel and a third sub-pixel located in two horizontal rows. With the solutions of the present disclosure, accuracy and yield of evaporation and image resolution may be improved.

The PDP being driven by applying a pulse waveform voltage alternating between a low level voltage and a high level voltage to the X electrodes and applying a pulse waveform voltage alternating between the high level voltage and the low level voltage to the Y electrodes during a sustain discharge period when sustain discharging occurs in selected ones of the plurality of discharge cells. Voltages and/or pulse widths of the second pulse in the sustain discharge period are made different than other pulses in the sustain discharge period.

    摘要: The present invention provides a method of driving a gas discharge display apparatus for displaying gray-scale display levels finer than those achieved by the conventional methods, and also to provide a gas discharge display apparatus with a driver capable of performing such a driving method. An opposed discharge between the sustaining electrode and the address electrode in addition to the conventional surface discharge is generated for the light emission from the fluorescent material in light emitting tubes. The method and the apparatus effect improvements in finer gray-scale display levels than those by the conventional methods.

By first and second switches, the Y electrode of the even display line and the Y electrode of the odd display line can be independently controlled to be in the high impedance states, whereby discharge of the even display line can be restrained in a sustain period of an odd frame, while a discharge of the odd display line can be restrained in a sustain period of an even frame, thereby realizing an interlace drive without complicating a circuit configuration.
