摘要: A remote tracking system is described including one or more remote tracking devices and a monitoring center. The remote tracking device includes a tamper-resistant housing intended to be held securely to a wearer by a strap, a positioning system receiver in the housing and operable to receive signals indicative of the location of the remote tracking device, a cellular transceiver in the housing and operable to communicate with the monitoring center, and a processor in the housing and in electrical communication with the positioning system receiver and the cellular transceiver, the processor operable to monitor a status for the remote tracking device. The remote tracking system is able to compare the location of the remote tracking device with a set of pre-programmed rules and establish a two-way voice communication between the wearer and the monitoring center upon the occurrence of certain programmable conditions in the remote tracking system.

摘要: The guard tour system of the present invention is comprised of a central computer which runs a computer program that enables a variety of electronic hardware components to function as the guard tour system. As a guard progresses through a guard tour, he or she uses a touch button reader to read information stored within a plurality of touch memory buttons located along the patrol route. At the end of the patrol, the guard places the touch button reader in a downloader that transfers the stored data to the central computer which processes the data and generates reports summarizing the patrol data. The computer program of the present invention provides a novel method of organizing security information in hierarchical categories. Further, the guard tour system of the present invention uses a novel method to determine the number of times a guard visited a location in a given time period.

摘要: A tracking system for monitoring cleaning frequency has a home unit mounted where a broom or other cleaning device is stored, at least one track recording device mounted on any normal cleaning or sweeping device, a series of beacons which comprise infra red or radio frequency emitters located throughout an area to be monitored such that they illuminate the area, and a data collection unit for storing sweep track data and producing risk management reports based on the stored data. The track recording device has a receiver for detecting each beacon and storing the identification of the beacon along with a time stamp as the cleaning device is moved through the area. The stored information is transmitted to the home unit each time the cleaning device is returned to the storage area, and the cleaning history is provided to the data collection unit.

摘要: A security system for automatically transmitting alert signals when a security appliance such as a firearm (110) carried by a security officer is drawn from its holster (130), and the method of enabling such a function under the present invention is described. The present invention makes use of radio frequency identification tags (eg 120, 134) and readers (eg 136, 186) to trigger these automatic alerts. The present invention also uses s locator function associated with a mobile device to automatically direct aid to the officer in danger. The present invention also encompasses a method of conducting security guard patrols that monitors the progress of the security guard in real time as he logs each checkpoint of the tour, through the use of RFID tags and readers.

摘要: The present invention comprises systems and methods for addressing exceptions (i.e., alarms) associated with a guard tour according to a predefined hierarchy. The exception is generated automatically based on data associated with the guard tour, as typically collected by an ETTS. The present invention receives tour data, and based upon predefined customer preferences and current conditions, generates a procedure to be followed to optimally resolve the exception. An exemplary exception is one based on the time interval between checkpoints. If, for example, the time interval is outside of a predetermined range, then an exception may be generated.
