    摘要: A control system in the form of an all-digital phase-locked loop controls movement of a DC motor. The control system includes a movement detector in the form of an optical encoder to detect movement of a DC motor. A digital phase detector compares output of a feedback signal from the movement detector and a reference signal. The digital phase detector is phase frequency detector that follows a describing function to model non-linear components of the reference signal. A digital loop filter then filters noise from the comparison signal and the filtered signal is amplified to control the DC motor. The phase frequency detector includes a state machine to track a time varying reference signal and selectively output a response to provide for system damping.

An adder 20 adds the speed difference and a speed instruction compensation value and a speed difference proportion calculator calculates a proportional component of the speed difference based on the added result and a proportional gain. A speed difference integral calculator calculates an integral component of the speed difference based on the speed difference and an integral gain. An adder 6 adds the proportional component of the speed difference and the integral component of the speed difference to output a torque instruction.

    摘要: An endless counting apparatus comprises a first memory for storing a code of a first predetermined number of bits sufficient to represent the maximum value of each coded input expressed according to the binary notation, a second memory for storing an endless-making code of a second predetermined number of bits of higher order than and contiguous to the less and least significant bits stored in the first memory, and a control circuit for adding or subtracting the value of the coded input to or from the contents of the first and second memories depending on the input value to be counted and applying the result of addition or subtraction to the first and second memories. A method for endless counting by such an apparatus comprises clearing the most significant bit of the endless making code stored in the second memory when the code stored in the second memory has attained a value which causes an overflow due to a carry from the contents of the first memory if the carry occurs, and setting the most significant bit of the endless-making code stored in the second memory when the code stored in the second memory has attained a value which causes an underflow due to a borrow from the contents of the first memory if the borrow occurs.

    摘要: An actuator for automotive HVAC control is coupled to a remote controller by two wires. The controller applies power to the actuator in a high current or a low current mode. A variable resistance driven by the actuator generates a voltage proportional to position in the low current mode. Zener diodes in the actuator circuit prevent motor operation in the low current mode and permit motor operation in the high current mode. A microprocessor in the controller selects the mode and reads the voltage in low mode to determine position. It controls the motor for a duration required to reach a desired position and then checks the new position to verify that the target has been reached. If not, another iteration is employed to reach the target.

    摘要: In automated press systems it is desirable to be able to control the actuators of an automation system associated with the press based on the speed of the press. To accomplish this, a circuit arrangement is provided which includes a pulse generator for producing a coded signal indicating the position of the press based on a press speed signal. An evaluation circuit having a parallel arrangement of a converter and a process control circuit receives these coded position signals. The outputs of the converter and process control circuit control the actuators of the automation system through pulse converters and positioning control circuits (e.g. speed and position control loops). Information as to the number of press strokes is also provided to the pulse converters through a generator. The converter can be an electronic curve shaper which controls the actuators when the press ram is moving, while the process control circuit can be a CNC control circuit which controls the actuators when the press ram is stopped.
