    摘要: A method for configuring a production process of a rotary press includes storing a plurality of groups of parameter data in a database including a first group comprising component parameter data on components mounted in the rotary press, a second group comprising process parameter data on process parameters during operation of the rotary press, a third group comprising powder parameter data on powder properties of the powdered material to be pressed in the rotary press, and a fourth group comprising tablet parameter data on tablet properties of the tablets to be produced in the rotary press. The production process of the rotary press is configured by defining parameter data from the other of the four groups for specified parameter data from at least two of the four groups according to the correlation of the parameter data saved in the database.

The pressing arrangement comprises a pressure vessel arranged to hold pressure medium therein during use of the pressing arrangement, the pressure vessel including a treatment region therein, wherein the treatment region is arranged to accommodate at least one article. The pressing arrangement comprises at least one controllable pressure medium supplying device configured to transport pressure medium during a cooling phase from another region in the pressing arrangement to the treatment region, wherein the temperature of the pressure medium in the other region is lower than the temperature of the pressure medium in the treatment region during at least part of the cooling phase. The method includes adjusting at least one operational parameter of the at least one controllable pressure medium supplying device, to adjust the pressure medium supplying rate thereof.

The controller is assigned a composition matrix which contains, for each defined workpiece parameter and for each defined press process value, an individually changeable function, to describe the relationship between every one of the defined workpiece parameters and the defined press process values. This composition matrix allows a quick and rapid adjustment and adaptation of the press.
