摘要： A transport device for a microfilm passage camera has a document supply device, and a transport device for further transporting a document in a camera and/or a document discharge device. Each of the document supply device and document transport device have a plurality of rotary members, a plurality of rings arranged so that each of the rotary members abuts against a respective one of the rings, a plurality of transporting rollers arranged so that the rings are mounted in groups on the transporting rollers, a lower guiding sheet limiting from above a document passage and provided with a plurality of perforations through which the rings extend into the document passage. The transporting rollers are driveable with a speed corresponding to filming of a document in the filming station.

摘要： An apparatus including separate mechanisms for photographing documents under automatic exposure control and recording image data, such as blip marks and frame numbers, at the same time. Even when the document has been completely photographed, the photographing mechanism is prohibited from transporting the film until the image data is completely recorded. The photographing mechanism photographs the document with automatically controlled proper exposure time in accordance with the density of the document. The data recording mechansim is independent of the photographing mechanism to record the image data properly under a constant condition, irrespective of variations in the exposure time in conformity with the document density. When the image data has not been recorded despite the completion of photographing operation, transport of the film is prevented to avoid failure in image data recording.

摘要： A self-contained COM (Computer Output on Microfilm) microimage recorder provides completed microfiche records of computer generated images. A master film strip travels a path including exposure, developing and duplication stations. An optics assembly at the exposure station exposes a pattern of numerous images provided serially by a cathode ray tube onto an image area of the master film strip. The entire image area is developed by heat at the developing station. A duplicate film strip moves along a path merging with the master film path at the duplication station where an entire pattern of images is duplicated onto an image area of the duplicate film strip from a developed image area of the master film strip. Duplicate film image areas are cut from the end of the strip as individual microfiche records and exit from the recorder as completed records after being developed and cleared.

The throughput speed of the cards through the camera box is improved by providing a first station for completely developing the exposed film of the respective aperture card and a second, like station for completely developing the exposed film of a subsequent one of the aperture cards, the first and second developing stations being arranged in the travel path between the exposure and drying stations, and the conveyors being arranged for alternately delivering the sequence of aperture cards carrying the exposed films from the exposure station to the first and second developing stations.
