    摘要: Provided herein is a test equipment for evaluating safety of a piping for use in nuclear power plants, the test equipment having a test specimen made of a same material as the piping, and having a notch cut from a first surface which is an end portion of the test specimen, with a crack formed at an end portion of the notch; and a load applier connected to the test specimen to apply a load in a direction perpendicular to a direction in which the notch is cut, wherein a pair of pin holes are connected to the load applier such that they are arranged to be distanced from each other along the direction of the load applied to the test specimen, and a central point is provided in a space between a second surface opposing the first surface and an end portion of the crack.Therefore, according to the present disclosure, there is provided a test equipment for evaluating safety of a piping capable of conducting a highly reliable safety evaluation using a test specimen having a same stress gradient as the piping actually constructed when a load is applied.

    摘要: A method for measuring the tenacity Kc of a material, wherein a cuboid test piece of the material with a central hole is placed between two jaws of a compression testing device, each of said jaws pressing on a far end of the test piece. The two jaws apply a force to each of the ends until the test piece fails completely. Variations of the applied compression force applied at each end of the test piece are measured as a function of the time, during compression. The maximum value F0 of said compression force is determined. Three distinct zones are marked on the surface of one of the failure surfaces. A distance is measured L0 between the edge of the hole and a transition line separating the second zone from the third zone, and the parameter Kc is calculated as a function of the force F0 and the distance L0.

    摘要: A compact pipe specimen applicable to a fracture toughness test used to evaluate physical properties of a pipe material is provided. The compact pipe specimen includes: a pipe having a notch portion formed in a circumferential direction and a crack portion formed at the edge of the notch portion; and first and second jigs having openings to which a pressurizing unit is coupled so as to cause a bending load on the pipe, having the notch portion therebetween, and attached to the exterior surface of the pipe, respectively. It is unnecessary to correct the influence of a constraint effect due to varying sizes and shapes of the specimen. There is no restriction to the curvature and thickness of a pipe. A fracture behavior of a pipe crack portion can be precisely simulated.
