摘要: A device is configured for braking and recovering projectiles and includes a support from which several braking tubes are suspended. The braking tubes are suspended by one of their ends on the support. The device further includes a motor driving the support in rotation about an axis of rotation. The braking tubes are suspended from the support by gravity so as to absorb the energy of a projectile impacting one or more of the several braking tubes.

摘要: A ballistic resistant curtain system is provided formed of a plurality of aligned ballistic material panels. Panels protect vertical surfaces, and can be reconfigured for horizontal surfaces or other oriented areas. Adjacent panels may be are aligned end to end in a butt or overlap manner, or configured to be angularly disposed toward the direction of fire such as to form a line of sight overlap. Each panel is formed of high strength fibers made from materials such as extended chain ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene. An exterior coating formed of fabric, polyurethane, or other material provides both an acoustic attenuation or sound absorbing surface as well as an aesthetic facing for providing an improved visual appearance to the area. The instant abstract is neither intended to define the invention disclosed in this specification nor intended to limit the scope of the invention in any way.

摘要: Bullet trap systems receive projectiles fired thereinto and allow for the recovery of the projectiles. Specifically, the bullet trap systems include strategically-placed support structures for ensuring that the projectile entry path remains unblocked and further includes sidewalls in the projectile containment units to prevent traveling of projectiles within the projectile containment units to prevent or minimize damage within the projectile containment units. Moreover, one or more accessibility hatches may be provided to allow individuals to gain access to the interior of the bullet trap systems.

摘要: A ballistic firearms container. The container includes a base plate and sidewalls vertically extending relative to the base plate. The sidewalls include at least one rim forming an opening leading into the container. The container further includes a ballistic plate made of a bullet resistant material capable of absorbing an impact from a firearm. The ballistics plate is vertically extending relative to the base plate. A connector is configured to secure a firearm to the base plate.

摘要: A bullet trap is disclosed which is formed without intervening sidewalls to enable cross-shooting and the like with reduced risk or ricochet or damage to the bullet trap. Furthermore, the bullet trap can be configured in a variety of ways to eliminate the need for facing plates while providing a removable attachment mechanism, to enable repair on the trap, to reduce bullet adhesion to the trap and to provide improved containment of lead and improved access to the trap.

摘要: The invention shows a projectile arresting module (1) comprising a base frame (3), partition walls (9), stopping material (11) positioned between the partition walls (9) and a pressure resisting wall (19). The pressure resisting wall (19) comprises a tight row (25, 27) of vertical hollow sections (15). The inventions also shows a projectile arresting arrangement (100, 200, 300) comprising at least two projectile arresting modules (1), which at least two projectile arresting modules (1) are grouped together, thereby forming an I-shape, L-shape, U-shape, C-shape, F-shape, T-shape or E-shape.
