摘要: A heating system of a managed fluid system can include a heat exchanger and a first temperature sensor device that measures an inlet temperature of a fluid flowing into the heat exchanger. The heating system can also include a second temperature sensor device that measures an outlet temperature of the fluid flowing out of the heat exchanger. The heating system can further include a controller communicably coupled to the first temperature sensor device and the second temperature sensor device. The controller can receive inlet temperature measurements made by the first temperature sensor device and outlet temperature measurements made by the second temperature sensor device. The controller can also evaluate the inlet temperature measurements and the outlet temperature measurements using at least one lookup table and at least one algorithm. The controller can subsequently determine an input rate of fuel used to heat the fluid flowing through the heat exchanger.

摘要: A solar powered water heating assembly for supplying hot water from an exterior faucet or pipe includes a heating unit and a solar panel. The heating unit is integral to, or can be engaged to, a pipe that is in fluidic communication with water piping of a structure. The pipe extends externally from the structure. The heating unit is positioned to heat water flowing through the pipe. The solar panel converts electromagnetic radiation into an electrical current. The solar panel is operationally engaged to the heating unit and thus is positioned to power the heating unit to heat the water flowing through the pipe.

摘要: A fluid heating system may be installed for residential and commercial use, and may deliver fluid at consistent high temperatures for cooking, sterilizing tools or utensils, hot beverages and the like, without a limit on the number of consecutive discharges of fluid. The fluid heating system is installed with a tankless fluid heating that includes an inlet port, an outlet port, a drain port, at least one heat source connected with the inlet port, and a valve manifold connected to the at least one heat source, the drain port, and the outlet port. A temperature sensor is downstream of the at least one heat source and connected to the valve manifold. The valve manifold is operated so that an entire volume of a fluid discharge from the fluid heating system is delivered at a user-specified temperature (including near boiling fluid) on demand, for every demand occurring over a short period of time.

摘要: The present invention provides a novel fins-on-tubes type evaporator/heat exchanger system that is optimized for energy-saving inductive heating thereof, for example by way of application of Pulse Electro-Thermal Deicing/Defrosting (PETD) or equivalent technique thereto, by configuring it to increasing its resistance to a value at which the system's reactance at its working frequency is comparable to, or less than, its electrical resistance. Advantageously, the inventive system may be advantageously configured to comprise the same form factor and interface as a conventional fins-on-tubes type evaporator/heat exchanger component, such that the inventive evaporator/heat exchanger system may be readily utilized for replacement thereof.

摘要: A tankless heater includes at least one non-metallic tube, at least one heating layer on or adjacent an external or internal surface of the tube, and a controller to generate a signal to be applied to the heating layer. The signal from the controller is applied through one or more electrodes coupled to the heating layer, and the heating layer generates heat in response to the signal. The heat is then transferred to a liquid flowing through, a gel located within, or a solid inside of the tube to heat the liquid, gel, or solid to certain temperature range, which may or may not be predetermined. Or, the heat is transferred to a liquid, a gel or a solid around the tube to heat the liquid, gel or solid to certain temperature, which may or may not be predetermined. In a multiple-tube configuration, the tubes may be independently selected and may have different temperature ranges. Also, according to one arrangement, no heating element is included inside any of the tubes.

摘要: In most households the electrical geyser is one of the major electricity consumers. This patent provides an alternative method of heating a fluid typically water, only using electricity while water is flowing. The invention provides a method of heating a fluid which includes the step of passing said fluid along a flow passage defined within a tubular electrically resistive heating element. An effective and electricity saving means for heating a fluid particularly water for industrial and/or domestic purposes is provided. A current regulator may be added to the heating element to heat a fluid particularly water to specific temperature for specified flowrate.
