摘要: Various examples are provided related to low pressure delivery, e.g., less than 250 psi at the point of application, of plural component system from unpressurized parts A and B material supplies. In one example, a system includes a polyurethane spray foam (“SPF”) raw material supply including parts A and B and a fluid handling system that can deliver the SPF raw material at low pressure to a metal spray gun in metered amounts through separate material fluid paths/conduits via a heated hose length and a whip hose. The fluid handling system can also deliver air at low pressure to the spray gun through separate air stream paths so that the air is communicated to the part A and B material conduits forward of the part A and B material input locations, where they are supplied separately to a mixing nozzle that is engaged at an end of the spray gun.

摘要: A droplet generator includes a chamber including an enclosed space filled with gas having vapor, a tube extending through the chamber, a gas flow channel inside the tube, and a heater in the chamber. The tube includes a sidewall having an outer surface exposed to the enclosed space of the chamber, and an inner surface. The tube contains liquid. The heater is operable to change a phase of the liquid contained in the tube to vapor such that the vapor is provided into the enclosed space. A pressure in the enclosed space is higher than a pressure in the gas flow channel such that the vapor in the enclosed space flows to the gas flow channel by passing through the tube.

摘要: A vapor generating system for generating neutrally buoyant tracer particles to be used in air pattern analysis is disclosed, including a fluid reservoir configured for receiving a volume of fluid to be vaporized, a pump in fluid connection with the fluid reservoir, a heater in communication with the fluid reservoir, a controller unit in communication with the pump and the heater, the controller unit comprising a flow controller and a heater controller, and a flow sensor in communication with the fluid reservoir and the flow controller for measuring a fluid flow rate, wherein selection of a fluid type and vapor intensity configures the flow controller to actuate the pump to provide a predetermined fluid flow rate from the fluid reservoir and further configures the heater controller to actuate the heater to provide a predetermined heater temperature to the fluid at the predetermined flow rate.

摘要: A system for providing aromatherapy to a user is described herein. The system comprises a mobile computing device including a mobile application to control the system; a diffuser mounted to the mobile computing device, the diffuser including: a body, one or more cavities in the body, one or more heating elements positioned to provide localized heating to the one or more cavities, a processor, and one or more non-transitory computer storage mediums. The system also includes a plurality of carriers including scented material, the carriers sized and configured to reversibly fill a cavity and position scented material proximate a heating element. The non-transitory computer storage mediums are encoded with one or more computer programs that, when executed by the processor in response to instructions from the mobile computing device, instruct the heating elements to apply heat from the heating elements to activate the scented material and deliver a predetermined aromatherapy experience to the user. Corresponding methods also are disclosed.

摘要: An indirectly heated capillary aerosol generator comprises a capillary tube adapted to form an aerosol when liquid material in the capillary tube is heated to volatilize at least some of the liquid material therein and a thermally conductive material in thermal contact with the capillary tube. The indirectly heated capillary aerosol generator provides substantially even and uniform heating across the heated length of the capillary tube.
