摘要: A pneumatic thermostat and method, particularly suitable for oil and gas burner systems, which incorporates a dual seat valve with valve seats on each end, and a pair appropriately sized plugs, attached via a rod which is placed through the dual seat valve. This assembly is preferably coupled to a thermal expansion sleeve and internal rod, which move the assembly back and forth. With these mechanics and peripheral features, which can include for example high and low temperature venting and a bypass system, embodiments of the present invention can maintain a target temperature and shut-down pressure in the event that a temperature drops below an operating range.

摘要: A control system for a heating, ventilation, and/or air conditioning (HVAC) system includes a controller. The controller is configured to control the HVAC system to condition an air flow based on first feedback from a first sensor of the HVAC system, receive second feedback from a second sensor of the HVAC system, and control the HVAC system to condition the air flow based on the second feedback instead of the first feedback when the first feedback from the first sensor being no longer available. The first feedback is indicative of a first operating parameter of the HVAC system, and the second feedback is indicative of a second operating parameter of a refrigerant flowing through the HVAC system.

摘要: Inference server and environment controller for inferring via a neural network one or more commands for controlling an appliance. The environment controller determines at least one room characteristic. The environment controller receives at least one environmental characteristic value and at least one set point. The environment controller transmits the at least one environmental characteristic, set point and room characteristic to the inference server. The inference server executes a neural network inference engine using a predictive model (generated by a neural network training engine) for inferring the one or more commands for controlling the appliance. The inference is based on the received at least one environmental characteristic value, at least one set point and at least one room characteristic. The inference server transmits the one or more commands to the environment controller, which forwards the one or more commands to the controlled appliance.

摘要: Method and environment controller for inferring via a neural network one or more commands for controlling an appliance. A predictive model generated by a neural network training engine is stored by the environment controller. The environment controller receives at least one environmental characteristic value (for example, at least one of a current temperature, current humidity level, current carbon dioxide level, and current room occupancy). The environment controller receives at least one set point (for example, at least one of a target temperature, target humidity level, and target carbon dioxide level). The environment controller executes a neural network inference engine, which uses the predictive model for inferring the one or more commands for controlling the appliance based on the at least one environmental characteristic value and the at least one set point. The environment controller transmits the one or more commands to the controlled appliance.

摘要: A system and terminal unit are provided for efficiently and effectively conditioning indoor air. Some embodiments address temperature control, humidity control, air quality control, while also introducing conditioned outdoor air. One aspect relates to a terminal unit that monitors and controls sensible and latent cooling rates to simultaneously meet temperature and humidity setpoints for the conditioned space. A sensor suite provides measurements for monitoring cooling rates and a control system controls actuators to meet the sensible and latent cooling requirements. The terminal unit may have a secondary recirculation air intake that bypasses the cooling coil to warm supply air prior to exiting the terminal unit. The terminal unit may be part of an air conditioning system where it is connected to a main branch of a hybrid branch controller which avoids having a home run to the HBC for each terminal unit.

摘要: Air conditioner units, bulkhead assemblies, and methods for operating air conditioner units are provided. A bulkhead assembly includes a bulkhead which includes a first sidewall, a second sidewall, and a rear wall extending laterally between the first sidewall and the second sidewall. The rear wall includes an indoor facing surface and an opposing outdoor facing surface. The bulkhead assembly further includes a vent aperture defined in the rear wall, and a vent door movable between an open position and a closed position, wherein in the open position the vent door permits air flow through the vent aperture and in the closed position the vent door inhibits air flow through the vent aperture. The bulkhead assembly further includes a drive assembly connected to the vent door and operable to selectively move the vent door between the open position and the closed position.

摘要: An energy saving controller for an air handler having a heater and a dual speed fan adapted to switch between a first speed and a second higher speed via a gas furnace controller, the energy saving controller being configured to be mounted between a thermostat and the gas furnace controller, and having: input terminals configured to connect to corresponding thermostat output terminals and receive output signals; a microcontroller configured to: process the output signals into revised signals; and cause the gas furnace controller to alternate between the first speed and the second higher speed to mimic a behavior of a variable speed fan; drivers configured to receive the revised signals and use the revised signals to actuate mechanical relays; wherein the mechanical relays are configured to actuate the fan or the compressor via ESC output terminals; and means for causing the alternation.

摘要: The invention discloses a method and apparatus for retrofitting air conditioning system using all-weather solar heating. In air conditioning system in which original single cold host is equipped with a cooling tower and a boiler, plate heat exchanger, solar collector plate, energy storage tank and circulating pipelines are provided. The cooling tower is used to absorb the heat in the winter air. The solar collector plate is used to absorb solar thermal heat and transfer to the plate heat exchanger. The single cold machine is used to absorb the heat of the antifreeze liquid. The plate heat exchanger is provided to form a secondary cycle so as to avoid icing risk of the antifreeze liquid. At the outdoor temperature more than five degrees, the indoor users is heated without operating the boiler, which maintains summer operation performance and meanwhile increases winter heating function without changing the original system.
