    摘要: A heatable pathway system for traffic comprises a first module having a first electrically powerable heater member and a second module having a second electrically powerable heater member. The first module and the second module are each installable in place to form a heatable pathway system for traffic. An electrical power controller circuit has a first power output connected in power supplying relation to the first electrically powered heater member and a second power output connected in power supplying relation to the second electrically powerable heater member. The electrical power controller circuit is operable to provide electrical power from the power outputs in a heating cycle that comprises a first heating sub-cycle and a second heating sub-cycle such that, during a heating cycle, a first one of the electrically powerable heater members is on and a second one of the electrically powerable heater members is off during the first heating sub-cycle, and the second electrically powerable heater member is on and the first electrically powerable heater members is off during the second heating sub-cycle.

    摘要: A portable heating system includes a plenum chamber forming a base. The plenum chamber has a plurality of side walls and defines an upper opening. The side walls also define a plurality of side openings, each configured for attachment to an elongate flexible duct. A heating unit is coupled to the plenum and has an air intake opening for drawing air into the heating unit and an air vent opening for blowing warm air out of the heating unit, into the upper opening of the plenum chamber and out through the ducts. The ducts can be located throughout a structure to provide heating in various remote locations from the heating unit. A frame assembly is coupled to the plenum chamber and includes a handle for grasping by a user and a pair of wheels to allow the heating system to be moved.

    摘要: An infrared (IR) heating panel system comprising a thermally and electrically insulating substrate, a power buss, an at least one substrate supported IR heating element electrically coupled to the power buss, and a return element electrically coupled to the power buss and IR heating element. A printed shield substantially covers the IR heating element(s). The heating panel emits radiation when an electrical current is passed therethrough. The printed shielding layer is electrically coupled to a low impedance grounding matrix and configured to harness and shunt electrical field charges emitted by the IR heating element. Some embodiments include two or more IR heating panels coupled in an electrical parallel configuration supplied by one twisted and shielded power feed wire. Twisted two-wire shielded plus ground conductors are soldered to the corresponding IR heater solder points while simultaneously maintaining the twisted wire configuration for EMR cancellation and EF grounding shield conductivity.

    摘要: A carpet assembly capable of generating heat comprises a plurality of polygonal base plates and a plurality of connectors. Each polygonal base plate has a power connector part provided at each periphery of the polygonal base plate, a heat generation device, and a power connection line. The power connection line is connected with the power connector part and the heat generation device, so that when the power connection line is connected with an external power, the power connector part and heat generation device are in electric connection via the power connection line, and the heat generation device begins to produce heat. When the connectors are connected respectively with the power connector part provided at one periphery of one polygonal base plate, the plurality of polygonal base plates are in electric connection with each other and forms a carpet assembly capable of generating heat with large area.

    摘要: A system and method for heating concrete structures to either prevent the build-up of freezing precipitation or eliminate freezing precipitation on a top surface of the concrete structures. The system includes a heating assembly integrally formed with a concrete structure to apply thermal energy to the top surface of the concrete structure. Optionally, the heating assembly includes heating elements formed of carbon fiber tape. Following formation of the concrete structure, the heating assembly is configured for unified movement with the concrete structure. The system optionally includes a control assembly operatively coupled to the heating assembly. The control assembly selectively powers the heating assembly and can be configured for remote operation. In use, the control assembly can be selectively activated from a remote location to power the heating assembly and heat the concrete structure.

    摘要: Disclosed herein is a heating apparatus. The heating apparatus includes a plurality of heating bars, electric wires, and connection members. Each of the heating bars has a conductive carbon heating element and an insulating outer coat surrounding the carbon heating element. The electric wires are connected to respective ends of each of the heating bars to enable electricity to flow to the carbon heating elements. Each of the connection members includes insertion portions and at least one seating portion. The insertion portions have respective tip portions which are configured to pass through any of the electric wires and to be inserted into any of the carbon heating elements of the heating bars. The seating portion is provided at the upper ends of the insertion portions to be seated on the electric wire.
