Abstract:
A candle blowing apparatus may have a main housing, a mouthpiece, at least one filter cartridge, and an ornamental endpiece. The main housing may have a first end and a second end. The mouthpiece may be removably attached to the first end of the main housing. The at least one filter cartridge may include at least one filter. The filter cartridge may be removably disposed within the main housing between the first end and the second end. The filter cartridge may be in fluid communication with the mouthpiece. The ornamental endpiece may be removably attached to the second end of the main housing and be in fluid communication with the filter cartridge. The ornamental endpiece together with the mouthpiece and the filter cartridge may define an air flow path for hygienic delivery of an extinguishing gust of air to a candle.
Abstract:
A device has a canister for attaching to a fuel container with a wick holder passing through the canister for holding a wick in a position to draw fuel from the reservoir for combustion proximate the top cap. A snuffer in the canister has a sleeve extendible from a first retracted position to a second extended position, the second extended position extending the sleeve partially beyond the wick holder. When the canister is upright the snuffer remains in the first lowered position and when the canister is tilted beyond a predetermined angle the spring moves the sleeve to the second extended position.
Abstract:
Provided is an automatic candle snuffer. The snuffer includes a holder having a penetrating part to be seated on a top opening of a candle housing according to an outer circumference size of the candle housing, a cover coupled via a hinged coupling part to limit the supply of oxygen by closing the penetrating part of the holder, and a rotary lid rotatably coupled to an upper end of the cover. The automatic candle snuffer is capable of automatically extinguishing a candle when a predetermined time has passed after the candle is lit.
Abstract:
A catalytic burner with electric start is provided. The method of using the catalytic burner comprises an electric-start device that may actuated via a switch or remotely via radio signal.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a candle extinguisher, characterized by an elongated base body having an integrated cylinder in which a burst of air pressure is produced with a piston, the piston being tensioned and triggered with an actuation lever.

Abstract:
This invention relates to a self-activated automatic candle snuffer. The device generally comprises a back plate connected to a base and to a spoon having a hole so that the back plate supports the spoon for spring movement with respect to the base. A candle mounted to the base so that the candle passes through the hole in the spoon. A set pin movably affixed to the spoon proximate the hole, operatively arranged to pierce and enter the candle so as to maintain tension in the spoon. A ball balanced on the spoon and a means for release of tension in the spoon which causes release of potential energy that allows the spoon to elevate to an inclined plane to cause the ball to roll down the spoon to settle on the hole and the wick and extinguish a flame.
Abstract:
The invention provides a method of and apparatus for extinguishing the flame of a candle that reduces the smell, smoke and soot which follow the extinguishing of the flame. The device draws gases proximate to the flame into apparatus thereby extinguishing the flame and passes the gases through a filter to clean the gas stream.
Abstract:
A self-extinguishing candle flame apparatus is provided, the apparatus comprises: a base; a post having opposing ends, at least a portion of the first end of the post is attached to the base; a pliable wax coil having opposing ends, at least a portion of the wax coil being situated upon the base, the wax coil forming a candle, the candle comprising an elongated wick being situated within the wax coil, at least a portion of the wick protruding from one end of the wax coil; and a self extinguishing device comprising at least two sections that form a clamp, at least a portion of each of the two sections being attached to a spring, each of the sections having opposing ends, the first end of each of the two sections comprises a head and the second end of each of the two sections comprises an arm, the first and second sections being connected at a joint, during a closed position, each of the heads contact one another and forms an extended rim with side walls and an aperture therebetween designed to receive a portion of the wax coil, the extended rim with the side walls forming a height that when the candle burns down within the aperture, the flame is extinguished by operation of oxygen deprivation.
Abstract:
An apparatus useful for extinguishing a flame of a candle, with preparation of the candlewick for relighting, is single-hand grippable and adapted for use to apply candle wax, or another candle fuel material, to a surface of a burning candlewick. Methods are also provided for extinguishing a flame of a candle involving applying a covering of a candle body material, such as candle wax, to the candlewick.
