    摘要: An apparatus and method for controlling a CVT (continuously variable transmission), and a program for executing the control method that reduces a transmission shock during a braking operation. When a foot brake switch is turned on and a vehicle speed is less than or equal to a threshold speed, the ECU increases a clamping pressure applied to a transmission belt to a pressure level higher than a normal pressure. When the vehicle speed falls to or below the threshold speed when the foot brake switch is turned on, the ECU prohibits an increase in the clamping pressure applied to the transmission belt.

    摘要: A control system controls a line pressure applied to a CVT upon taking account of a certrifugal pressure caused by a rotation of pulleys. The control system determines whether the centrifugal pressure is greater than a predeterminied value only by which the pulley transmits an input torque from an engine. When the determination is affirmative, a lower limit of a duty ratio for operating a line pressure control valve is switched from a lower limit of a linear range to 0% duty ratio. Therefore, an actual transmissiou ratio control range is expanded while preventing an undershoot of the line pressure.

The system comprises a hydraulic arrangement wherein a hydraulic fluid pressure supplied to a pulley cylinder chamber which the tension of the V-belt is variable with. The level of the hydraulic fluid pressure is elevated or increased immediately before or during shifting from the torque transmission through the gearing mechanism to the torque transmission through the V-belt type continuously variable transmission mechanism.

The control section is configured to control the secondary pressure regulating valve by a feedback control based on the target secondary pressure and the actual secondary pressure sensed by the hydraulic pressure sensor. The target secondary pressure setting section is configured to modify the target secondary pressure by adding a predetermined quantity when a correction initiation condition is satisfied, the condition initiation including a first condition that the shift operation is performed at a high speed by switching of the operation switching section.

    摘要: A hydraulic control apparatus for controlling a vehicle power transmitting system including a belt-and-pulley type continuously variable transmission and a torque converter provided with a lock-up clutch. The transmission includes a pair of hydraulic actuators one of which receives a belt tensioning pressure for controlling a tension of a transmission belt. The hydraulic control apparatus includes a lock-up clutch control valve which is selectively placed in an engaging and a releasing position for engaging and releasing the lock-up clutch, respectively, a slip control valve for controlling an amount of slipping of the lock-up clutch until the clutch is fully engaged, a pressure control device for raising the belt tensioning pressure so as to increase the tension of the transmission belt; and a pilot-pressure generating device for applying a pilot pressure simultaneously to the slip control valve and the pressure control means, so that the belt tensioning pressure is raised while the slip control valve controls the amount of slipping of the lock-up clutch.
