摘要: A number of variations may include a casting including a body portion and a mass damper extending therefrom wherein the body portion and the mass damper are a continuous un-joined single piece of cast metal, and wherein the mass dampers constructed and arranged to prevent or retard vibrations of the body portion. A number of variations may include a vented brake rotor including a hub and a first annular portion extending from the hub; the annular portion including a first rotor cheek, a second rotor cheek spaced apart from the first rotor cheek and at least one rib extending between the first rotor cheek and the second rotor cheek; a mass damper disposed between the first rotor cheek and the second rotor cheek. A number of variations may include a casting including a body portion and a mass damper extending therefrom wherein the body portion and the mass damper are a continuous un-joined single piece of cast metal, and wherein the mass damper is constructed and arranged to prevent or retard vibrations of the body portion.

摘要: A system for absorbing vibration in a rotary member having a predetermined rotary speed of the present invention has a selectively moveable mass and a positioning mechanism. The mass is in communication with the rotary member having a predetermined position. The positioning mechanism exerts a force on the mass at least when the rotary member operates below the predetermined rotary speed. The force exerted by the positioning mechanism orients the mass at the predetermined position when the rotary member operates below the predetermined rotary speed.

摘要: A rotational vibration damper, especially for arrangement in a drive train of a motor vehicle driven by an internal combustion engine, comprises first and second damping components that are rotatable together as well as relative to each other around a common rotational axis. The first and second damping components are connected to each other for rotational force transmission by a coupling mass arrangement. The coupling mass arrangement is connected to the first damping component so as to be pivotable about a pivot axis that is offset substantially axis-parallel to the center of gravity of the coupling mass arrangement and to the rotational axis. The coupling mass arrangement has two contact surface regions arranged at a distance from each other in the circumferential direction relative to the pivot axis and face away from each other. The second damping component has two counter-contact surface regions arranged at a distance from each other in the circumferential direction relative to the rotational axis and face each other. The two contact regions respectively contact the two counter-contact regions for rotational force transmission between the coupling mass arrangement and the second damping component.

摘要: A vibration damping system for a drive system of a motor vehicle includes an electric machine controllable by a control device for exerting a counter-torque on a rotating constructional group. A deflection mass arrangement is arranged at the rotating constructional group having at least one deflection mass and a deflection path associated with the at least one deflection mass and along which the deflection mass can move. The deflection path associated with the at least one deflection mass has a vertex area and deflection areas proceeding from the vertex area. The vertex area is an area with the greatest radial distance of the deflection path from an axis of rotation of the rotating constructional group.

摘要: A centrifugal pendulum includes a first support plate, being able to rotate around a rotation axis; a second support plate, facing the first support plate in the axial direction and fixed to the first support plate. A mass is disposed between the first support plate and the second support plate in the axial direction. The first support plate has a first protrusion extending axially, and the first protrusion is integrally formed with the first support plate and defines a first track. The mass has a through hole extending axially, and the through hole defines a second track. The first protrusion extends into said through hole such that the first track faces the second track in the radial direction. A roller is disposed between the first track and the second track in the radial direction, and is capable of rolling against the first track and the second track, such that the mass is able to move relative to the first and second support plates and apply a torque onto the first and second support plates. The present invention also discloses a torque transmitting device comprising the centrifugal pendulum and a vehicle.
