    Abstract: Examples described herein provide a computer-implemented method that includes receiving training data indicative of incipient compressor surge for cabin air compressors. The method further includes generating, using the training data, a training spectrogram. The method further includes training, by a processing system, a machine learning model to detect incipient compressor surge events for the cabin air compressors using the spectrogram. The method further includes receiving, at a microcontroller associated with a cabin air compressor, operating data associated with the cabin air compressor. The method further includes generating, at the microcontroller and using the operating data, an operating spectrogram. The method further includes detecting, by the microcontroller associated with the cabin air compressor, an incipient compressor surge event by applying the machine learning model to the operating spectrogram. The method further includes implementing a corrective action to correct the incipient compressor surge event.

    Abstract: A housing is formed with an impeller side communicating passage extending from an impeller chamber in a direction including a component of an outer side in a radial direction, circulating channels extending from the impeller side communicating passage in a direction including a component of a front side in the axial direction, and a suction side communicating passage communicating with the circulating channel and a suction channel that guides a gas into the impeller chamber. A radial dimension from an axis to a communicating position at which each of the circulating channels communicates with the suction side communicating path is larger than a radial dimension from the axis to a communication position with the impeller side communicating path in the circulating channel. A channel area of the circulating passage at a communicating position for the suction side communicating passage is larger than a channel area of the circulating channel at a communicating position for the impeller side communicating passage.

    Abstract: A turbo-molecular pump comprises: a rotor having a plurality of stages of rotor blades and a cylindrical section; a plurality of stages of stationary blades alternately arranged with respect to the rotor blades; a stator arranged with a gap from the cylindrical section, the stator together with the cylindrical section constituting a screw groove pump section; a plurality of spacers stacked on a base, the spacers including at least one cooling spacer having a cooling section; a heater heating the stator; a temperature regulation section controlling the heater to regulate the temperature of the stator so as to be a reaction product accumulation prevention temperature; and an auxiliary ring for reaction product accumulation prevention at least a part of which is located in a space between the spacer facing a bottom step rotor blade, and the bottom step rotor blade.
