    摘要: An engine fuel control system includes a main pump which receives fuel from a low pressure source and delivers the fuel at a first high pressure, and a variable displacement augmenter pump which receives fuel from the low pressure source and delivers the fuel at a second high pressure. The augmenter pump has a servo-controller to vary its pump flow rate. The system includes an augmentation valve which is actuatable by an electrically operated control valve to open a flow path therethrough which diverts fuel delivered by the augmenter pump or to shut the flow path. The system includes a pressure drop control valve which senses a pressure differential between the second high pressure and a reference pressure, and controls the servo-controller to vary the pump flow rate of the augmenter pump. The pressure drop control valve spills some of the fuel delivered by the augmenter pump.

    摘要: An intake charged pump for pumping liquid and which has an intake duct that extends to the suction area of the pump. The pump has a duct through which a jet stream flows to the suction area. A nozzle arrangement in the intake duct accelerates the liquid which is returned via the jet stream and supports the suction of a suction stream of the liquid from a storage container. A nozzle of the nozzle arrangement leads into the mixing chamber at an acute angle in a such way that the jet stream, leaving the nozzle, creates a common mixing stream with the suction stream from the storage container, and through which partial streams having essentially the same pressure and energy content, can be delivered to the front and back suction pockets of the double chamber pump.

    摘要: A rotary vane engine system for using exhaust heat energy of a fuel-based heat engine. The heat engine includes a crankshaft being driven by a combustion cycle, and the heat engine generates exhaust gases by combustion. The system comprises an independent air system, wherein the independent air system contains air separate to the exhaust gases. A heat exchanger system is provided for transferring exhaust heat energy from the exhaust gases to the air contained in the independent air system to generate pressurized air. A rotary vane engine is also provided having a housing, a rotor contained within the housing and coupled to the crankshaft of the heat engine, and a plurality of vanes extending radially from the rotor. The pressurized air is expanded within the rotary vane engine for rotation of the rotor thereby providing drive to the crankshaft of the heat engine.

    摘要: A fuel feed pump according to the present invention improves its pump performance by making smaller side clearances in an axial direction at both sides of a pump element PE. Multiple through-holes passing through in an axial direction are respectively formed at top portions of cogs of the outer rotor and the inner rotor, which form a pump element of a feed pump. Accordingly, pressures in the thrust direction at both axial sides of the rotors can be equalized, since the side clearance formed at both axial sides of the rotors are communicated with each other. As a result, since the rotors can be floated, without contacting with the pump cover and the pump plate, the abnormal wear and seizures can be suppressed, even when side clearance between the pump cover and the pump element is made smaller.

    摘要: A counter-rotating rotary-piston engine has an output shaft with a cylindrical inner cavity rotatably mounted on a single support spindle in the frame of an aircraft. The output shaft extends substantially through the length of the engine block, which is suitably journaled on the shaft or the spindle to permit its counter-rotation. Internal combustion power is transmitted to the output shaft by means of an inner rotary piston fixed to the shaft which cooperates in conventional manner with an outer working chamber in the engine block, thereby producing concurrent rotation of the shaft and counter-rotation of the engine block. Dual propellers mounted on the shaft and on the block improve thrust performance, balance the torques and moments of inertia of the two counter-rotating masses, and virtually eliminate any resultant torque to the aircraft.
