Abstract: A filter module for filtering fuel in an engine system includes a primary filter, a secondary filter, and a module housing. A drain valve is movable between a closed position blocking a drain port in the module housing, and an open position. A service valve assembly is positioned at least partially within a cross passage in the module housing and adjustable from a closed configuration blocking a primary-side fuel passage from a secondary-side fuel passage in the module housing, to an open configuration, to drain fluids from the filter module by way of the single drain port.

Abstract: Various example embodiments relate to a system that includes a nozzle. A dosing line is connected to the nozzle and a fuel dosing module. The fuel dosing module is in fluid communication with the dosing line and includes an outlet in fluid communication with the dosing line. An air inlet is positioned upstream of the outlet and is configured to receive air. A fuel inlet is positioned upstream of the outlet and is configured to receive fuel. A fuel valve is positioned upstream of the outlet and downstream of the fuel inlet and is configured to control the flow of fuel. The fuel dosing module is configured to combine the fuel and the air upstream of the outlet and downstream of the fuel valve to generate an air-fuel fluid, wherein the air-fuel fluid removes particles from the nozzle.

Abstract: A valve unit has a plate-shaped valve body with a closure section and a connection section. The valve body has a cutout surrounded by a frame. The closure section has a closure tab that, beginning at a first fastening section at the frame, projects into the cutout. The connection section, beginning at a second fastening section at the frame, projects into the cutout and has a contact tab and a fastening point. The first and second fastening sections are arranged opposite each other at the frame along a longitudinal axis of the valve body. A filter head for the valve unit has a valve seat for a seal body of the closure section of the valve body. A fastening pin of the filter head fastens the connection section of the valve unit. A contact region of the filter head contacts a positioning region of the valve unit.

Abstract: A fuel filter is provided which includes a manifold, a connector element, a filter bowl, a filter element, an inlet shutoff valve, an outlet shutoff valve, an inlet port, an inlet passage, an outlet port, an outlet passage and a relief valve in which the connector element is fixed to the manifold, and the filter bowl is reversibly fixed to the connector element. The filter bowl is adapted to reversibly receive the filter element and is so configured that when the filter element is located within the filter bowl and the filter bowl attached to the connection element, the filter element divides the space defined by the connector element and filter bowl into an inlet filter chamber and an outlet filter chamber and the inlet port is incorporated in the manifold, and the inlet port and inlet filter chamber are in fluid communication via the inlet passage.

Abstract: A fuel filter element has a screen fabric as a filter medium and a support tube supporting the screen fabric. A valve body guide for guiding a spherical valve body is provided. The support ribs extend along a longitudinal direction of the fluid channel and project radially into the fluid channel. A filter assembly with such a fuel filter element is provided. The filter assembly has a ball valve with spherical valve body and a filter housing with a valve seat for the spherical valve body of the ball valve.
