摘要: A method of manufacturing a check valve may include forming an upper housing as cylindrical body with (i) an internal surface including an upstream internal surface and a downstream internal surface having a projection and (ii) an external surface, forming a T-shaped filter member and mounting the T-shaped filter member in the internal surface of the upper housing. The method may further include forming a lower housing with a support portion at a central portion thereof, mounting a flexible valve member on the support portion, and coupling the upper housing with T-shaped filter member mounted therein onto the lower housing with flexible valve member mounted therein such that the T-shaped filter member is disposed upstream of the flexible valve member.

摘要: This invention concerns relievable normally closed check valves for use in conjunction with fluid delivery systems for medical patients, as well as methods for making and using valves. In the medical context, such valves function at very low fluid pressures, and include a multi-part valve body made from upper and lower housings capable of movement relative to each other that, when operably connected, dispose between them a compliant or deformable, resilient valve element normally biased in the closed position against a valve seat present on the inner surface of the upper housing. The upper housing also includes a lower housing seat. The inside surface of the lower housing contains or supports a structure that positions the valve element to engage the valve seat in the absence of fluid pressure above the valve's pre-determined cracking pressure. The valve's flow prevention function may be relieved in the absence of sufficiently pressurized fluid by causing the valve element to disengage from the valve seat, for example, by adjusting the valve body to distance the valve element from the valve seat.

摘要: A diaphragm device for a check valves is provided. The diaphragm device comprises a diaphragm, adapted to cover at least one orifice, and an operation device, adapted to enable movement of the diaphragm substantially along a length axis of the orifice. The operation device comprises at least one first operation organ and at least one second operation organ. The first and second operation organ in turn each comprises a first portion, and a second portion. The first portion of the first operation organ is adapted to be connected to a check valve housing, and the second portion of the first operation organ is connected to the second portion of the second operation organ. Furthermore the first portion of the second operation organ is connected to the diaphragm and the second portion of the second operation organ is connected to the second portion of the first operation organ. The first operation organ is movable in relation to the second operation organ, and the second operation organ is movable in relation to the diaphragm, for enabling movement of the diaphragm, substantially along the length axis of the orifice. This embodiment could enable the check valve to open a relatively long way by means of a relatively low pressure or flow, at the same time as the deformation of the resilient material could be relatively small since it is deformed in a multiplicity of points and along a relatively long extension of resilient material.

摘要: A check valve in particular for medical applications has a first hose connecting casing and a second hose connecting casing and a membrane disk configured between the two hose connecting casings. The membrane disk is made of a resilient material and cooperates with an annular valve seat. The membrane disk is fitted radially outside the valves seat with apertures leading to a discharge space. The wall of the second hose connecting casing is opposite the apertures and fitted with a surface curved away from the membrane toward the discharge channel. The discharge channel is fitted with an intake mouth in the wall, and conically tapers within a transition segment toward the intake mouth. Recesses communicating with the discharge space are fitted into the transition segment and are dimensioned in a way to substantially compensate the different flow cross-sections between the intake mouth and the discharge channel.
