    摘要: A self-drilling rock bolt assembly (1) including a drill head mechanism (100) and a fluid delivery system (300) operatively associated with each other and adapted in use to secure a self-drilling rock bolt (200) into a strata (2). The rock bolt (200) having a shaft (210) having a cutting end (220) and a driving end (230). The drill head mechanism (100) having a bolt coupling portion (130) to releasably engage with the driving end (230) of the rock bolt (200). Wherein rotation of the bolt coupling portion (130) rotates the rock bolt. A central hollow portion (111) provides access to a fluid connection port (232) of the rock bolt and a nut coupling portion (120) releasably engages with a nut element (250) located on the shaft of the rock bolt. Wherein rotation of the nut coupling portion rotates the nut element. The fluid delivery system (300) has an injection nozzle (320) in communication with one or more sources of fluid for delivering measured quantities of one or more fluids to a predetermined location about said assembly. Each source of fluid including a reservoir (310, 311, 312) in fluid communication with a pump (313, 314, 315). The pump being in fluid communication with the injection nozzle so that said fluid from said reservoir is adapted to be pumped to said predetermined location. Whereby in use said drill head mechanism drives the rock bolt into the strata by rotating in a drilling direction the rock bolt and nut element at the same rate such that the nut element remains in the same position relative to the shaft of the rock bolt.

    摘要: An apparatus (100) for post-grouting a rock bolt (1) has an elongate sleeve (101) adapted to receive a rock bolt (1) with a first end (1a) thereof extending beyond the sleeve first end (101a) and a second end (1b) thereof extending beyond the sleeve second end (101b). An end fitting (102) is attached to the sleeve second end (101b) and has a central aperture (106, 107) for receiving the rock bolt (1). Grout passages (112) communicate the exterior of the end fitting (102) with the interior of the sleeve (101). A seal means (117) is displaceable between open and closed positions so as to seal the grout passages (112). The seal means (117) is biased towards the closed position at which the grout passages (112) are substantially sealed. Injection of grout into the end fitting (102) via the passages (112) deflects the seal means (117) to the open position enabling flow of grout through the passages (112) and into the sleeve (101).

    摘要: A rock stabilizing apparatus and method for use with adhesion materials has a tensionable reinforcing member having a threaded portion at one end and an opposite end. The member-threaded portion threadably receives a nut and a bearing plate is retained on the member-threaded portion by the nut. A shearing element is provided for temporarily fixing the nut in a first operating position. At a predetermined torque, the shearing element fails and the nut is freed to advance on the threaded member portion from the first temporary operating position to a second permanent operating position. The first fixed operating position is located at the top end of the member-threaded portion. The second operation position is located at the bottom end of the member-threaded portion so that the bearing plate is in abutting contact with the face of the rock formation. In its first operating position the nut and reinforcing member may be rotated together for mixing the adhesion materials located within the drill hole.
