摘要: An inflatable barrier allows separating air in a first space from air in a second space to provide containment.
The inflatable barrier may include an inflatable bag with edge seals in the form of parallel tubes. The bag receives air from an air mover through a first opening. It has a carrier for a vent that releases air while the bag stays inflated. A tension rod prevents the bag from bulging out of shape. The bag may be hung from an expandable rod. An internal channel may route air through the whole bag.
The inflatable barrier may comprise an outer sleeve and two or more inflatable inner chambers. The circumference of a main sleeve matches the circumference of a combination of the inner chambers. The inner chambers include an air inlet/outlet. The outer sleeve may have connector halves to couple the barrier with another barrier, or to couple the main sleeve with a top, a bottom, or an extension.

摘要: Embodiments herein relate to a ground sealing arrangement for a portable flood barrier further comprising a vertical wall. The ground sealing arrangement is arranged to be positioned on the ground. The ground sealing arrangement comprises a main sealing layer forming a main body of the ground sealing arrangement. The main sealing layer is impermeable to water. The ground sealing arrangement further comprises a bottom sealing layer arranged on a ground-facing underside of the main sealing layer. The bottom sealing layer is attached to the main sealing layer at a distance L from a peripheral edge of the main sealing layer which is most distal from the first edge of the ground sealing arrangement such that the bottom sealing layer has a free end extending from the point where the bottom sealing layer attaches to the main sealing layer towards the peripheral edge of the main sealing layer, and comprises a highly flexible and/or glutinous material which is stretchable and sticks to the ground when the material is soaked with water.

摘要: A reusable and portable temporary door/frame assembly primarily used in abatement, remediation, demolition, and remodeling applications with a containment enclosure or barrier to allow quick and easy ingress/egress, or restrict movement, to/from a limited access area. The assembly comprises lightweight materials, such as but not limited to plastic or aluminum, and two non-spring-loaded telescopic poles that extend a top bar/piece upwardly for attachment to an overhead door frame, header, or ceiling. The top of the frame is also configured to accept two upwardly extendable spring-loaded/biased poles allowing a containment enclosure or barrier to be built to ceiling heights beyond the reach of the integral telescopic poles. Since the assembly is portable, it can be installed to open inwardly, outwardly, and is reversible, depending on convenience or need. The door is lockable. The door panel's frame includes a seal at the top/bottom to reduce air transmission to/from the limited access area.

摘要: A novel extendible flexible flood barrier manufactured from textile and membrane materials has been developed which comprises a textile/membrane wall and support posts configured to be movable between a stowed position and a deployed position and wherein, in the deployed position, forms a leak-free barrier against flood water or other fluids. The flexible wall is stored in a container on one side of the opening to be protected and extended to the receiver on the opposite of the opening to deploy the barrier. Structural members, such as posts or a building itself will react to the load from the flood water impinging on the wall. Intermediate posts or bollards can be added to lengthen the wall so larger spans can be closed-off with the flexible wall. The flexible wall can be configured for use in many applications including entire buildings, building entrances, transit system passages, such as ventilation shafts or elevator shafts, stairwells, and other openings that can be threatened by flooding.

摘要: In the opening phase the problem which often arises with gates and window frames is the space they occupy, whether they have hinged doors, whether it be of sliding doors in horizontal or vertical direction. The invention applied to gates and windows consists of a system of opening as a hand fan that makes disappear the doors in a minimum of space such that they can be integrated in the column of a gate or in the section of a wall.

摘要: In one embodiment, a variable screen includes a generally flat sheet having a front surface, a back surface, and a plurality of elongated slits that extend through the sheet from the front surface to the back surface, wherein the sheet includes a shape memory material that enables the slits to open into openings through which light and fluid can pass when a tensile force is applied to the sheet in a direction generally perpendicular to the slits and further enables the slits and openings to automatically when the tensile force is removed.
