A locking mechanism and a key operated mechanism are received in the receiving space. The locking mechanism is connected with the axial shaft for driving the axial shaft. The key operated mechanism has a lock core disposed therein and having a key hole defined therein for being inserted and rotated by a key, such that the lock core drives the axial shaft. Accordingly, the locking mechanism and the key operated mechanism are separately operable to move the latch member between a locking position and an unlocking position.

    摘要： A handle and lock which generally includes a base having an index pin, a stop positioned in a circular channel, and an aperture traversing the base. A shaft is rotatably engaged to the base. The shaft includes a nut-shaped platform and an arcuate positioning limiter disposed in the circular working channel. The nut shaped platform preferably includes a threaded bore to receive a fastener used to releasably attach a handle to the shaft. The handle generally includes a head portion having a nut shaped receiving area and an arcuate protruding positioning member for placement within the circular working channel. The nut shaped receiving area preferably covers the platform during rotation of the handle relative to the base. The head portion may also include a lock having a locking barrier connected to a locking cylinder. The locking barrier is also adapted for removable positioning within the circular working channel to prevent rotation between the rotational limiter and the stop thereby restricting rotation of the handle and shaft relative to the base. The shaft further includes a latch member designed to engage a latch receiver integral to a door frame used for latching of a door in a closed position.

    摘要： A latching assembly that requires three distinct operations must be performed with two hands to allow the handle of the latch assembly to be rotated to unlock a cabinet door or the like. The assembly provides substantial flexibilities in installation. A base portion is secured to a door and receives a handle portion with a shaft attached, the shaft extending through the sleeve. Cooperative rotation restriction portions on the handle and on the base portion restrict the motion of the handle to a limited rotation range. Said limited rotation range may be altered by moving a key guide in one of the cooperative rotation restriction portions. A first release mechanism comprising a trigger portion which extends from the handle and a detent which engages a detent opening in the base portion requires depression of the trigger portion before rotation of the handle to an unlatched position. The detent mechanism is within the handle and a cap contained and encloses in the detent mechanism. The cap portion has a bore which receives a second release mechanism which has a shaft portion that may be exteriorly manipulated to move an obstructing member into and out of an obstructing relation with the detent. Thus, the second release mechanism must be manipulated to allow release of the trigger portion which must then be depressed to allow rotation of the handle. The cap portion is secured in the handle by screws or other threaded members extending from the handle base portion interface into the cap.

    摘要： A lock having a housing and flange, a lock cylinder, a cam lever, and a lock nut. The housing has a length which is slightly less than the thickness of the panel into which it is to be inserted. Its exterior surface has axial ridges which engage with the inner surface of the panel hole in which the housing is inserted. The ridges preferably extend only a short distance from the flange. These ridges hold the housing in place and prevent it from turning in the panel hole. The lock cylinder, which fits within the housing, has a threaded portion extending outwardly to receive the cam lever and the lock nut. Tightening up on the lock nut serves to draw the housing fully into the hole and to clamp the housing in place. The lock cylinder is keyed to the inner surface of the housing; and the cam lever is keyed to the threaded portion.

    摘要： A key-activated removeable cylinder lock is disclosed. The lock has a lock barrel including a plurality of combinating tumblers disposed therein for movement between a first resting position and a second activated position. The barrel further includes a control tumbler having a first end and a second opposite end. The control tumbler is slidably disposed between a first resting position and a second activated position. In the resting position, the first end is extended relative to the barrel. In the activated position, the first end is retracted relative to the barrel. A housing rotatably removably receives the barrel therein. The housing further has an internal longitudinal slot formed therein extending from a forward end thereof. An annular clearance space is located rearwardly of the slot and is in communicaiton therewith for accommodating extension of the first end of the control tumbler in the resting position, whereby rotational movement of the barrel in the housing is permitted. The width of the first end is greater than the width of the slot and the second end, such that when the control tumbler is in the resting position, removal of the barrel from the housing is prevented. Insertion of a first normal key moves the combinating tumblers into their respective activated positions, whereby the barrel may rotate for the locking and unlocking thereof. Insertion of a second removal key moves the control tumbler into the resting position thereof for the removal of the barrel therefrom.
