Abstract:
The hands-free door latch mechanism includes two mutually opposed actuator plates to each side of the door, with the plates disposed vertically and orthogonally to the plane of the door. The plates are rigidly connected, with the connector bar also rigidly connected to the latch of the door. When either plate is pushed toward the hinge line of the door, the connector draws the latch into the door to release the latch from the strike plate. A horizontally disposed lock plate extends from one side of the door, with a transverse lock rod extending through the door. The lock rod has a tang that resides above the internal end of the latch when unlocked. When the lock plate is pushed down, the tang drops behind the latch to prevent retraction of the latch. The opposite end of the lock rod has a lock status indicator extending therefrom.
Abstract:
A recessable rotary sliding door handle system provides for comfortable movement of a door or fenestration product with enough durability and strength for everyday use on a large door product. The handle system can include one or two recessable handles with comfortable grips, with balanced weighting to allow the handles to maintain an exposed usable configuration position when swiveled about its axis. In an exposed configuration, the handle is open and accessible for opening and closing a door. In a recessed configuration, the handle is closed to provide a clean appearance and allow the fenestration product to completely pocket within a walled enclosure.
Abstract:
A locking handle which is in particular provided for a motor vehicle comprises a star handle which is rotatably supported around an axle and to which one or more locking rods are fastened. An improved locking handle of this type comprises a longitudinally displaceably guided slide actuator with an actuator part. An engagement part is provided at the star handle.
Abstract:
A hook shaft balance connection structure includes an operating element, a balance rod, and a connecting part. The operating element moves into a shell along the direction of the imposed force. The operating element includes a protrusion toward the direction of the force. The balance rod includes two axial parts and an eccentric part. The axial parts are on both ends of the balance rod, pivotally connected with the shell. The axes of them are on the same extension line. The eccentric part is disposed between the two axial parts, deviating from the axial parts by a predetermined distance. Its axis is parallel to those of the two axial parts. The eccentric part includes a first eccentric part in contact with the protrusion of the operating element and a second eccentric part by the first eccentric part. The connecting part includes a pushing part and two coupling parts. The pushing part is connected with the second eccentric part. The two coupling parts are connected to both ends of the connecting part.
Abstract:
A handle system is for use in combination with a vertical drawer of a cabinet structure. The handle system includes a blocking assembly operatively provided about a bottom portion of the drawer, and an activation rod configured for operatively cooperating with the blocking assembly, in order to selectively operate a blocking component thereof between blocking and releasing configurations. The handle system also includes a handle assembly operatively mountable about an outer side of the vertical drawer. The handle assembly includes a gripping handle, the gripping handle being provided with an outer activation button and a corresponding internal transmission mechanism operatively linked to a top end of the activation rod for selectively urging the activation rod between lowered and raised configurations, and in turn operating the blocking assembly between the blocked and releasing configurations respectively, via a corresponding pressing action of the activation button.
Abstract:
A locking device having a housing installed in a stationary manner in or at a leaf. The locking device has a locking element that is movable translationally into and out of the housing and has at least a first actuating device including a handle piece accessible from outside the housing that is operatively connected to the locking element such that the locking element is moved when this handle piece is moved along a predetermined movement path. The locking device has a second actuating device received in the housing that includes a transmission device which can be rotationally actuated and turned or rotated by a turning part. The turning part is accessible from outside the housing and is operatively connected to the locking element so that the locking element is moved out of the housing by turning the turning part in a locking direction.
Abstract:
A gate has a frame, a gate door, a latch and a latch seat. The gate door is pivotally mounted in the frame. The latch is attached to a top corner of the gate door. The latch seat is attached to a top inner corner of the frame. The latch seat and the latch engage each other to latch the gate door to the frame. Unlatching the gate door requires multiple actions so children or pets are not able to open the gate. The safety of children is assured, and pets will not ruin objects isolated by the gate.
Abstract:
A door pull (10) including a fixing portion (11) fixed on the door stopper stile (8A) of a shoji, an operating portion (12) fixed slidably in the opening direction of the shoji relative to this fixing portion (11), and a turning portion (13) supported by the fixing portion (11), a first of which is linked turnably with the operating portion (12), turning in conjunction with a slide of the operating portion (12), and a second end projects towards the jamb. According to this door pull (10), by sliding the operating portion (12), an abutment (132) representing the second end of the turning portion (13) abuts against the jamb and biases the shoji in the direction away from the jamb, and the opening operation of the shoji is assisted. Therefore, the door pull (10) having an opening assistance mechanism is constituted by a simple structure of having only the fixing portion (11), the operating portion (12) and the turning portion (13) and the number of component parts can be reduced thereby.
Abstract:
A flush mounted latch for a door that includes a housing, a bolt, first apparatus, and second apparatus. The first apparatus includes a pinion gear that is operatively connected to the bolt, a pivot arm that is pivotally mounted at one end to, but off center of, the pinion gear and pivotally mounted at another end to the bolt which allows the bolt to retract when the pinion gear is rotated, a first rack that is operatively connected to the second apparatus and gearingly engages an edge of the pinon gear, and when caused to move inwardly by the second apparatus, rotates the pinion gear and retracts the bolt, a second rack that is operatively connected to the second apparatus and gearingly engages an opposite edge of the pinon gear, and when caused to move inwardly by the second apparatus, rotates the pinion gear and retracts the bolt. The second apparatus includes a first plunger plate connected to the first rack for movement therewith, and when pushed, the first plunger plate causes the first rack to move inwardly and rotate the pinion gear and retract the bolt and a second plunger plate connected to the second rack for movement therewith, and when pushed, the second plunger plate causes the second rack to move inwardly and rotate the pinion gear and retract the bolt.
