    摘要: A closure for a door of a structure, for example, a wildlife observation or hunting blind, is provided. The closure can include a base plate, a door latch, a handle, and at least one tracking bar spaced from the base plate to form a gap, sized to receive part of a door panel. The tracking bar can include a primary sliding surface that faces and slides relative to a first side of the panel when converting the closure from a locked mode to an open mode. The plate can include a guide bar slidable within a panel guide slot coextensive with a transverse opening sized so the tracking bar can fit through it and retain the base plate and handle in sliding relation proximate the panel. The door closure can be installed relative to the door manually, without the use of tools. A related method of use is provided.

    摘要: A magnetic latch for fastening a closure member to a support. The magnetic latch comprises a keeper assembly including a magnet and a latch bolt assembly having: an elongated frame (32); a latch bolt (14) moveable between a latching position and a retracted position; a latch bolt biasing member urging the latch bolt into its retracted position; and a latch bolt operating mechanism configured to move the latch bolt from its latching position to its retracted position against a magnetic attraction. The latch bolt operating mechanism comprises: an effort link rod (37); a load link rod (34); and a second-order lever (35) interposed between the effort link rod and the load link rod. The second-order lever reduces the force required to operate the latch bolt operating mechanism thus allowing for an increased magnetic attraction of the latch bolt towards the magnet in the keeper assembly.

The slot defines a range of sliding motion of the plate and bolts.

    摘要: A fenestration hardware assembly includes a blade socket including a blade recess and an operator interface feature rotatably coupled with an operator housing. A latch blade is movably coupled with the operator housing. The latch blade is movable between deployed and withdrawn positions. In the deployed position at least a portion of the latch blade is received in the blade recess of the blade socket. In the withdrawn position the portion of the latch blade is recessed from the blade recess. The operator interface feature is rotatable between at least locked and unlocked configurations. In the locked configuration the latch blade is in the deployed position and received in the blade recess. In the unlocked configuration the latch blade is translated from the deployed position to the withdrawn position and withdrawn from the blade recess according to rotation of the operator interface feature.
