    摘要: A sill plate anchorage assembly for supporting prefabricated building walls includes an elongated member having spaced holes. A concrete formwork defines a space for receiving concrete to form a foundation to support the elongated member. The elongated member may be supported temporarily from the formwork. Anchor shafts extend within each of the spaced holes and extend below the elongated member into the space defined by the concrete formwork. After forming and curing the concrete, nuts or other fasteners are tightened over the upper ends of the anchor shafts to secure the elongated member against the foundation. The upper portions of the spaced holes may include enlarged recesses for receiving the fasteners. Indicia marked upon the elongated member may show the location and type of pass-through regions. A method to secure a horizontal sill plate to an underlying concrete foundation to support vertical building wall panels is also disclosed.

    摘要: A collapsible cardboard concrete form is disclosed. In a particular embodiment the form includes a cardboard box beam having a depressed longitudinal section along an outer portion of its length for added structural integrity. A lateral notch is disposed in the outer portion of the form at intervals and across a width of the form to divide the form into what will be the sides of the form when assembled. The lateral notches include a flexible planar connector of an inner portion of the form to allow the notch to act as a hinge and bend to create each corner of the form. A tab extends from one end of the form and is used to tuck in an opposing end of the form. The surfaces of the form may be coated with wax, or other sealant, to prevent moisture damage to the form as the concrete is curing.

    摘要: A permanent frost protected shallow foundation footing for a building is assembled from a plurality of form parts arranged in a chain that is partially below ground level to form a foundation perimeter. The form parts are made of a lightweight material such as insulating foam material shaped as an elongated sectional unit with an overhang part overhanging a cavity part of an interior cavity. The interior cavity has an opening for receiving a concrete pour concurrent with a concrete pour of a floor. Open ends of the assembled sectional units abut each other in end-to-end alignment to form an elongated cavity inside the perimeter chain of form parts that is filled with concrete. The overhang part may have a foot shape that fits inside the interior cavity of another form part that may also have a foot shape for compact storage or transport prior to assembly.

The system includes side walls that receives and retain the concrete and a bracket assembly that retains the side walls. The side walls include a first side wall and a second side wall, at least one of the first and second side walls is comprised of a component having an interior cavity. The bracket assembly includes reinforcement posts and a separator bar. The separator bar has a plurality of apertures disposed along its length. The apertures include a first set and a second set. The first set and the second set of apertures are sized to retain the reinforcement posts at locations corresponding to nominal widths of the component and building materials that comprise the components to form a cross section of the foundation approximating one of a rectangle, a trapezoid or combinations thereof.
