摘要: A profiled web for arrangement between the underside of floor tiles and an upper surface of a support plate. The profiled web is based on a rigid plastic film formed to have a parallel series of successive channels, each of the channels being defined by first and second edge portions and a trough portion therebetween. The series of channels are open alternately to the upper surface of the support plate as a first group of channels and to the underside of the floor tiles when in an installed position as a second group of channels. First trough portions of the channels open to the support plate are parallel, and form an upper surface of the web; second trough portions of the channels open to the tiles are parallel and form a lower surface of the web. The web is provided with a plurality of through-openings which produce a liquid- and gas-permeable connection between successive channels. A liquid- and gas-permeable textile mesh is adhesively laminated to the upper surface of the web and extends across successive channels in the form of a plane. In an alternate embodiment, a supporting profile strip is located in transverse orientation to the channels, at the longitudinal ends of the channels.

摘要: The invention relates to a multi-layer decoupling system, in particular for the laying of ceramic paving according to a thin-bed method. Said system comprises a layered construction containing, from the base upwards, an anchoring fleece made of non-woven material, an anchorage layer that is configured from a lattice-type structural element and that is used to hold a filler material, which is to be incorporated into the upper face of the decoupling system and which is plastic during processing and subsequently cures, in addition to a reinforcement layer, which is fixed, at least in some sections, to the anchorage layer. This improves the load-bearing capacity of the decoupling system and the bonding properties of ceramic paving that is laid in a conventional manner on the decoupling system.

摘要: An overlay brick deck system (10) is provided which includes a base surface formed of slat members (20). A liquid pervious layer (24) is sandwiched between an upper surface (22) of slat members (20) and a lower rim surface (34) of brick or tile members (26). The brick or tile members (26) include a hollowed out under portion defining an internal chamber (32) which lessens the weight of individual brick or tile members (26) into an acceptable range for deck use purposes. Brick or tile members (26) are mounted adjacent each to the other and include recesses (36) at least partially filled with granulated composition (38). In this manner, there is provided an overlay brick deck system (10) which upon exposure to an external environment extends the useful working life of a deck over that of commercially available wooden deck systems. Additionally, with the use of hollowed out brick or tile members 26, aesthetically pleasing arrangements and designs may be provided far in excess of those designs of known wooden decks.

摘要: Commercial meat and perishable product refrigeration buildings commonly suffer from infiltration of moisture which normally occurs at the roof/wall junction where the roof meets the walls. Warm moist outside air is drawn into the cooler because of the lower pressure therein and once inside, forms ice which lowers the cooler temperature and causes freezer burn. By removing the building roof, and installing a moisture proof 40-50 mil thick sheet polymer membrane onto the cooler wall panels, over the top sill plate and the top header ledger board then welding it at the roof perimeter to the roofing membrane, an impermeable seal can be formed. To ensure the unitary integrity of the system, a flexible polymer mastic is trawled onto the wall panels before the membrane is affixed and a double sealing strip is screwed into the membrane though the mastic and into the wall panels.

摘要: A fiber-reinforced pultruded underlayment for ceramic tile includes a thin base with a plurality of elongated ridges. The underlayment is in the form of planks having interlocking tongue and groove edges. The elongated ridges have a narrow base and a wider distal portion wherein the areas between adjacent ridges have a trapezoidal cross sectional configuration. Tile is adhered to the surface using a rigid cementitious or epoxy adhesive which fills in the trapezoidal area creating a very rigid support structure for the ceramic tile.

摘要: A decoupling mat (1) for a surface covering structure that can be covered by covering elements has a strip- or plate-shaped compensation element (2) which has upwardly projecting formations (4) arising from a lower support plane (3), which formations from an upper covering plane (6) at a distance from the lower support plane (3) and are arranged spaced apart from one another and have at least in sections an undercut (8) along their periphery. A water-permeable cover is fixed on a bottom side (12) of the lower support plane (3) and prevents penetration by a viscous adhesive into the upwardly projection formations (4). On at least some formations (4), the undercuts (8) are arranged along a region, extending in a curved manner, along a side wall of the upwardly projecting formations. A plurality of the first undercuts (8) is oriented in a first direction and a plurality of second undercuts (8) is oriented in a second direction. The cover may have a perforation or consist of a water permeable textile woven fabric or sheet, or of a water permeable non-woven fabric (13). A plurality of adjacent formations (4) are respectively connected to one another by ventilation ducts (7) projecting from the lower support plane (3), wherein the ventilation ducts (7) do not extend up to the upper covering plane (6).
