    摘要: A stiff wall panel assembly includes a wall panel including a single, continuous, and unitary layer including a central portion having a plurality of central portion ribs spaced therealong, a first wall track engaged with the central portion and having a plurality of first ribs spaced therealong, and a second wall track engaged with the central portion and having a plurality of second ribs spaced therealong. Studs are engaged with the central portion, the first wall track, and the second wall track. Such studs have a plurality of third ribs each engaged with the central portion ribs, the first ribs, and the second ribs. The first ribs and the second ribs each are linearly interlocked as well as linearly and slidably interfitted within the third ribs of the studs. The first ribs and the second ribs each are parallel to the third ribs of the studs.

    摘要: A laminated board is secured to the inner wall of a cavity wall construction to establish a defined spacing between the inner and outer walls and prevent excess mortar from bridging to the inner wall. The laminated board has a series of spaced sockets into which fasteners may project into the face of the inner wall or framing thereof to secure the outer wall. The board is installed prior to the construction of the outer wall and establishes a minimum spacing or gap between the walls based upon the thickness of the board. The outer wall is constructed immediately adjacent to the outer face of the laminated board. The board is impervious and eliminates bridging by the mortar, eliminates transfer of bulk water from the exterior finish to the inner wall and provides an air conduit to exhaust even the minimal amounts of vapor that will occur in the cavity.

In one embodiment, a wood element of zig-zag-shaped form may be adhesively bonded to a planar wood element, in such a way that a wood element of zig-zag-shaped form is surrounded by two planar wood elements in sandwich-like fashion; or two wood elements of zig-zag-shaped form surround a planar wood element in sandwich-like fashion.

    摘要: A high strength low density multi-purpose panel. The preferred panel is made of a plurality of sections, organized into rows and columns, and each preferably including two voids. The voids are preferably triangular in cross-section and may be rounded at their apex and corners. Solid strips of material, extending between opposite corners and between the faces of each section, intersect at the center of each face, resulting in an X-shaped cross in each section. Each section is rotated ninety degrees with respect to each adjacent section. Each section shares sides with four adjacent sections and corners with four cater-corned sections. The common sides create perpendicular sets of parallel braces running the panel's length and width. The shared corners align and join the X-shaped cross braces with the X-shaped cross braces of their cater-cornered neighbors, creating diagonal braces that run across the entire panel.

    摘要: A seamless simulated stone panel has a top edge, a bottom edge, two side edges, a front surface, a rear surface, stone-like patterns, at least one engaging portion and at least one mounting recess. The stone-like patterns are formed on the front surface and has at least one non-straight stone overhang formed along the stone-like patterns. The at least one engaging portion is optionally formed on the top edge. The at least one mounting recess is optionally defined in the bottom edge. After lightweight, user friendly and seamless simulated stone panels are assembled on a surface, a natural looking stone wall is easily and quickly achieved.

    摘要: A roofing assembly for shieldingly covering the planking of a flat roof. At least one water drainage outlet is provided about a portion of its surface. The roofing assembly comprises: (a) a thick, substantially flat insulating batt; (b) top waterproofing membranes, gravel layer and cardboard layer;, and bottom waterproofing membranes and gypsum layer, being respectively applied on top and bottom walls of the insulating batts; (c) a rigid, corrugated sheet member, applied directly under the bottom gypsum layer and supporting the insulating batt and destined to be applied directly against the roof planking. The corrugated sheet member is formed by a thin rigid sheet, this thin sheet undulating in a wave-like pattern along a lengthwise direction, whereby the corrugated sheet member has a depth formed by the transverse gap between a successive pair of trough and crest of the wave-like thin sheet. Hence, the undulating sheet member depth tapers toward the water drainage outlet port, so that rainwater falling over the roofing assembly will be biased under gravity toward the water drainage outlet.

    摘要: A corrugated panel structure for supporting compressive loads includes curved cap strips 22 separated by truss-core web segments 30. The truss-core web segments 30 are formed from first and second flat panels 32 and 34 with a corrugated filler 36 therebetween. The corrugated filler 36 extends in the direction of the compressive load, thereby providing load carrying capability for the compressive load. As a result, all components of the panel structure have a compressive load carrying capability resulting in a high strength-to-weight ratio when the compressive load is limiting.
