Abstract: A turning work vehicle comprises a lower travel body, an upper turning body, a work device, a rotation body, and a support column. The lower travel body is provided with a blade. The upper turning body is supported by the lower travel body so as to be able to turn. The work device is supported by the upper turning body so as to be able to rotate. The rotation body is provided to the blade. The support column is provided so as to project from the rotation body. A target prism, which is the measurement object of a total station, can be secured to the support column. The rotation body rotates in relation to the blade, whereby the posture of the support column is configured so as to be able to switch between an upright posture and a fallen posture.

The input image contains a first pictorial view that includes a work implement of a work machine. The one or more processors are also configured to generate an output image containing a second pictorial view and an indication element superimposed on the second pictorial view. The second pictorial view is at least in part derived from the first pictorial view and includes the work implement. The indication element includes at least one reference line. An alignment of one or more portions of the work implement with the at least one reference line indicates that the one or more portions of the work implement are positioned at a desired height from a ground surface.

Abstract: Some embodiments of the invention include a vehicle control system having: two GNSS receivers positioned fixedly in a known relationship with respect to one another on a vehicle, for receiving signals from navigation satellites, a computer unit for using the signals to form direction vectors, and generating instructions for steering the vehicle as a function of the direction vectors, wherein at least one retro-reflector is arranged in a predefined position with respect to the GNSS receivers on the vehicle, a geodetic measuring device is positioned in an immovable fashion at a known reference position in order to determine exact absolute positions of the retro-reflector, wherein the measuring device has a transmitter for transmitting the exact absolute positions to a receiver of the computer unit, and the computer unit is also designed to generate the instructions as a function of the exact absolute positions.

Abstract: A control system is disclosed for a machine having a work tool and a traction device. The control system may have an actuator configured to adjust a depth of the work tool relative to a ground surface, a tool sensor configured to generate a first signal indicative of a performance parameter of the work tool, a speed sensor configured to generate a second signal indicative of an actual speed of the traction device, and a controller in communication with the actuator, the tool sensor, and the speed sensor. The controller may be configured to determine that the work tool is engaged with the ground surface and, when the work tool is determined to be engaged with the ground surface, to make a comparison of the actual speed of the traction device with a rotational speed threshold. The controller may then be configured to selectively cause the actuator to adjust the depth of the work tool based on the comparison.
