    摘要: A foundation structure is made up of a screw that is vertically adjustable into a pile to a desired height, a ball joint connected to the screw, and load bearing components that can be adjusted on the ball joint in 3-dimensional space with respect to the position of the pile. The load bearing components include one or more plates that define one or more hollow slots into which one or more bolts can be held in place vertically while still having allowance for lateral motion. A load bearing plate at the top of the structure can be laterally translated based on movement of the bolt. The load bearing plate is removably coupled to the floor of a building. The structure allows for vertical, lateral, and angular adjustment, providing tolerance for foundation misalignments due to inconsistencies inherent to topography and/or offset between an intended and an actual point of installation.

    摘要: A building panel comprises 2 parallel slabs separated by a layer of insulation. Each of a pair of planar plate-like lift wings has a 1st and a 2nd lift wing portion. Each of the 1st lift wing portions is penetrated by at least one through opening. A planar plate-like lift head defines a plane of symmetry orthogonal thereto. 1st and 2nd lift head portions are symmetrically disposed on either side of the plane of symmetry. Each lift head portion is penetrated by at least one through opening symmetrically disposed relative to the plane of symmetry. Each lift head portion is penetrated by at least one through opening symmetrically disposed relative to the plane of symmetry. The lift head is attachable to both lift wings when the 1st lift wing portions are orthogonal to the plane of symmetry. The lift head is detachable from both lift wings to eliminate thermal conductivity between the lift wings.

The modular piling driver (1) can be assembled on site to drive a pile into the ground within a small confined space under a limited head room comprising of; an underpinning pile (61, 62), a clamping block (2) with horizontal hydraulic clamps (25, 29), a thrust block frame structure (3) with a C-shaped horizontal beam (34) supporting a pair of vertical hydraulic jacks' (4) with corresponding rams (43) that drives the clamping block (2) along the two vertical holding frame members (5) which is supported by a pair of upper and lower locking pins (54) on to the parallel beams (7) that will bear against the soffit of the foundations (8). A method of push pull piling characterized in that apart from only using the counterweight is to utilize the pull resisting force of the adjacent underpinning piles (61a, 61b, 61c) through a system of inter-connecting at least two units of the piling driver (1) into an assembly (9).

    摘要: A floor slab support system for jacking and stabilizing a sagging or cracked floor or other such slab. Holes of 3½″ diameter, for example, are drilled through the slab and a pipe pier driven downwardly until reaching bottom. A connector sleeve matching the slab hole size is temporarily suspended in the slab hole and L shaped brackets are inserted into the sleeve and maneuvered to extend outwardly through slots in the sleeve to engage the underside of the slab. A threaded rod with a threaded positioning member and a bottom stop is inserted through the sleeve and into the pipe pier, and the L brackets extended through the sleeve and maintained outwardly by the threaded positioning member. Once in position, the threaded rod is rotated to screw the sleeve and brackets upwardly to support the slab. Finally, the top of the rod is cut off and the hole filled with concrete.

    摘要: A lifting assembly for raising and supporting a load includes a removable and reusable lifting bracket. The lifting bracket is designed to fit around and support a support bracket that supports a load. The support bracket is installed on the pole of the pier and engages the edge of the load. The lifting bracket is removably attached to a jacking apparatus for pushing or pulling the piering pole through the support bracket and raising the load on the support bracket. After the lifting operation, the lifting bracket is removed from the jacking apparatus and the support bracket attached to the piering pole for use on adjacent piers and on other lifting assemblies.
