The locking mechanism includes a locking tube, a locking sleeve, and four clamping pieces. The second sleeve extends into the locking sleeve. The slider slidably is received in the second sleeve. The limiting seal cover is positioned on the second sleeve. The first hanging rod extends into the limiting seal cover. The locking tube extends into the first sleeve and defines four first through holes, the locking sleeve is sleeved on the locking tube. The four clamping pieces are respectively positioned in the four first through holes, the locking sleeve resists the four clamping pieces inwardly. The first fastener rotatably connects the locking tube with the first hanging rod.

摘要： A base unit and a delineating device for delineating traffic. The traffic delineating device comprises a base unit and a body unit extending upwardly via a first aperture in the base unit. The base unit comprises a first surface having the first aperture and a second surface having a second aperture, and the surfaces are joined together around a substantial section of their perimeters via a side wall, and the side wall together with the first surface and the second surface limits and defines an interior sleeve of the base unit. The side wall has an opening for inserting ballast between the first and second surfaces into the sleeve, and the sleeve is of suitable size and shape to hold the ballast. The ballast consists normally of tread from vehicle tires. Preferably, at least one of the first and second surfaces comprises a non-rounded portion, thereby preventing the base unit from rolling. The base unit can be easily assembled by local distributors utilizing local recyclables. The invention further provides flexibility in functional design, since the invention can match different shapes and sizes of a body unit of the device.

摘要： A traffic channelizing device has a base unit made from the sidewalls of used tires, and additional tire components such as tread portions or other sidewalls, at least partially secured between the sidewalls. Tread portions may be wound spirally between opposing sidewall portions, or horizontally-arranged sidewalls may be positioned partially between the opposing sidewall portion, and may be cut and shaped to a non-circular inner shape to accommodate barrels which have a non-circular shape. Wire ties or the like are used to bind the sidewalls to produce an irregular exterior shape, so that the devices are not inclined to roll when overturned. The base separates readily from the barrel in the event of an impact.

Downward or collision forces with the barricade are compensated by providing compression molded end walls in the recesses in which the limiting bolt is placed. 摘要： There is provided a collapsible barrel-shaped barricade which telescopes within itself for compact storage. Particularly, a solid and heavy base is provided for stability and a series of telescoping ring members are mounted thereon; the lowest ring being mounted to the base and upper rings being concentric with the lower ring. The concentric rings are arranged to interlock by placement of a tab from an inner ring into a horizontal slot on the inside of an outer ring. This interlock operates to hold the rings in an extended position when the barricade is in use.

摘要： A portable traffic signal has a base for mounting on the bed of a transporting vehicle, an articulated frame pivotally attached to the base and capable of extending and contracting and a traffic signal light supported by the frame such that when the frame is extended the signal light is elevated and horizontally displaced from the transporting vehicle. When the frame is fully contracted, the signal light and the frame are compactly fitted onto the base. The frame comprises structural members connected by hinge assemblies in the form of two adjacent parallelograms and two adjacent quadrangles, the quadrangles being other than parallelograms such that when the frame is fully contracted the structural members are in substantial horizontal alignment above the bed.
