Abstract:
Yarn drying and dye setting apparatus comprising an enclosure having an inlet for receiving a dyed yarn strand and an outlet for discharging the strand, a fan and heater for circulating heated air within the enclosure, a reel comprising a pair of spaced side wheels rotatably mounted in the enclosure on which the yarn strand is wound, a plurality of rods extending between the side wheels, and the rods being angularly related with respect to the axis of the reel to facilitate movement of the yarn along the rods during the drying and dye setting process.
Abstract:
A textile fabric has a pattern which is appeared when moisture makes contact with the textile fabric. A method of manufacturing the textile fabric includes coating hygroscopic softener on the textile fabric, printing a predetermined pattern on a surface of the textile fabric by pressing a roller on which the predetermined pattern is embossed, and a water-repellent solution is coated on a surface of the predetermined pattern, and drying the textile fabric.
Abstract:
An apparatus for dye application to textile manufactures, exhaustion of the applied dye, and drying of the textile manufacture. The apparatus, in some implementations, includes a dye applicator that applies dye evenly to a textile manufacture of varying length, one or more microwave elements for heating the textile manufacture with applied dye to exhaust the dye, and a blower system to dry the textile manufacture after application of the applied dye.
Abstract:
A material web impregnated with a settable synthetic resin travels in vertical direction, from the bottom towards the top, through a first heat treatment zone where the solvent of the synthetic resin or plastic is evaporated and there occurs a chemical reaction. The tacky material web departing from the first heat or thermal treatment zone then passes through a cooling zone where it is cooled by means of a cooling medium to such a degree that it does not stick to the deflection or diverting rolls over which the material web subsequently is guided. After deflection of the material web the latter is moved in vertical direction downwardly through a second heat treatment zone where the chemical reaction proceeds. Prior to winding-up of the material web the latter is further cooled. Before the first deflection roll and between the first pair of deflection rolls and the second pair of deflection rolls there is arranged a respective blowing or blast nozzle which blows a cooling medium against the face of the material web which comes into contact with the deflecting rolls. Consequently, there is caused further cooling of the material web and there is still further reduced the danger of the web sticking at the deflection rolls. By incorporating a cooling zone between the first heat treatment zone and the deflection rolls the material web can be moved at greater velocities through the installation, without the danger that it sticks to the deflection rolls.
Abstract:
An apparatus for producing high quality products of cloth strip by the improvement of working efficiency and the equalization of treatment conditions, wherein the cloth strip (2) is subjected to a predetermined treatment while passing through one treatment zone (3) along a spiral path. A plurality of metallic surface rollers (5-2 to 5-4), surfaces of which are formed with metal, are used as at least part of conveying rollers consisting of metallic rollers (5-2 to 5-4) for guiding the cloth strip (2), provided in at least one of entrance and exit parts for the introduction/withdrawal of cloth strip (2) to the treatment zone (3). The metallic surface rollers (5-2 through 5-4) are arranged in a non-contacted state with each other and positively driven to rotate via a suitable drive mechanism (6).
Abstract:
Reinforcing fiber materials such as rovings, webbings, and other fiber materials are impregnated with a resinous binder material in such a manner that gaseous inclusions are avoided whereby a surprising increase in the strength of the fiber compound material is achieved. For this purpose the liquid resinous binder material is applied substantially only to one side of the reinforcing material which is then moved through an absorbing zone in which the liquid resinous binder material penetrates the reinforcing material substantially completely as a result of a predetermined residence time and temperature in the absorbing zone. Gas inclusions are removed by adsorption and/or by expulsion. The gas adsorbing and expulsion zone is a chamber in which a plurality of guide rollers are arranged so as to cause the impregnated material to repeatedly reverse its moving direction, whereby the sequential and repeated penetration of the reinforcing material by the resinous material and the removal of gas inclusions are enhanced. Further, the precise weight ratio adjustment of resin to fiber material is enhanced by moving the impregnated material in a substantially vertical orientation through a fulling station. The vertical orientation facilitates the flow off of excess resin.
Abstract:
Apparatus for finishing textile materials and the like, in which the finishing compositions are applied onto the articles to be treated by the spraying method through one ore more rows of nozzles fed by a pump under a pressure of at least 3 kg/cm2. The textile material is passed, driven by a plurality of rolls, firstly through the spraying chamber, then through a drying chamber with recycle of air, finally through a thermal treatment chamber with circulation of air.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a system for injecting a functional solution for fabric and a method for manufacturing fabric using same. The system includes: a first supply portion; a second supply portion provided with a distributing device; an injection portion provided with a needle; a drying portion provided with a hot air blower or a blower; and a collection portion provided with a collecting roll. An injection method is provided in which the needle on the injection portion, installed so as to be moved reciprocally, is directly inserted into the fabric to inject the functional solution, so that the functional solution is absorbed from the outer surface to the inside of the fabric.
