Abstract:
A creel 1 with twisting devices is capable of directly supplying twisted yarns from bobbins carrying non-twisted yarns to a loom or a warper, and of producing not only normal fabric but also a fabric having a low weft density woven at a higher rate or a fabric using hard-twist yarns as warps. A plurality of rotatable spindles 8, each carrying a bobbin 3 on which a non-twisted yarn 2 is wound, are arranged on a frame 18. The yarns 2 withdrawn from the bobbins 3 on the spindles 8 are twisted and arranged to form a yarn sheet 19. The spindles 8 are rotatably secured via bearings to the frame 18 of the creel 1 at the center of a rotary shaft section 8' which is arranged in a horizontal direction. On both ends of the rotary shaft section 8', a section for supporting the bobbin 3 carrying the non-twisted yarn 2 is formed, on which a two-for-one twisting device 21 is provided.
Abstract:
An apparatus for producing high quality products of cloth strip by the improvement of working efficiency and the equalization of treatment conditions, wherein the cloth strip (2) is subjected to a predetermined treatment while passing through one treatment zone (3) along a spiral path. A plurality of metallic surface rollers (5-2 to 5-4), surfaces of which are formed with metal, are used as at least part of conveying rollers consisting of metallic rollers (5-2 to 5-4) for guiding the cloth strip (2), provided in at least one of entrance and exit parts for the introduction/withdrawal of cloth strip (2) to the treatment zone (3). The metallic surface rollers (5-2 through 5-4) are arranged in a non-contacted state with each other and positively driven to rotate via a suitable drive mechanism (6).
Abstract:
In a continuous cloth strip processing apparatus for at least one long belt-like cloth strip, a cloth strip traveling direction changing apparatus which has both an introduction guide roller having a rotational axis which is perpendicular to the cloth strip which is introduced and a withdrawal guide roller having a rotational axis which is perpendicular to the cloth strip which is withdrawn and which has an arbitrarily set relative angle between the rotational axes of these two rollers is provided at an input part, an output part or within at least one processing section that forms the processing zones.
Abstract:
An apparatus for treating a cloth strip comprising a treatment zone with an entrance and exit for the cloth strip. The cloth strip is treated while running along a predetermined spiral path through a treatment zone. A plurality of conveying rollers are provided in the treatment zone. The conveying rollers have portions which are fixed to a rotary shaft and portions which are loosely connected to the rotary shaft such that the loosely connected portion may rotate about the shaft.

Abstract:
A thin and light webbing having a high strength per warp yarn unit, maintaining abrasion resistance, and using, as a warp yarn, a very strong polyester multifilament yarn for a seat belt made by fine single-yarn fibers. A yarn obtained by performing a twisting process of a high degree of twist is used as a warp yarn. The polyester multifilament yarn of fine single-fibers is essential to be woven at the maximum stretch ratio in a yarn making process to obtain a very-strong polyester fiber for a seat belt. A multifilament yarn and/or a monofilament yarn of polyester is/are used as weft yarns. By making the weft yarns and warp yarns cross each other so as to be woven in a belt like configuration, a webbing having a very high strength per unit of warp yarns, using low-cost base yarns, and maintaining abrasion resistance is obtained.
Abstract:
A woven belt having thick and narrow portions with a breaking strength per unit width that exceeds the level of strength of conventional fabric straps and belts. One embodiment of the belt includes at least four layers of weave structure in which two outer layers are woven into a hollow tube by a common weft and the remaining inner layers are woven together by a second weft. The widthwise central area of the belt is provided with a thickness that is larger than a quarter of the belt width.
Abstract:
Allyl alcohol is hydroformylated with a gaseous mixture of hydrogen and carbon monoxide, in an aromatic hydrocarbon, in the presence of a rhodium complex and a trisubstituted phosphine, to form hydroxybutyraldehydes which are separated from the reaction mixture within an aqueous medium. The carbon monoxide partial pressure, the rate of consumption of carbon monoxide, the rate at which the carbon monoxide is dissolved in the reaction mixture, reaction temperature and the viscosity of the reaction mixture are selected and controlled in an interrelated way to give a high yield of 4-hydroxybutyraldehyde and reduced catalyst consumption.
Abstract:
An automatic heddling method and a related automatic heddling apparatus 100, by which a plurality of heddles 2 removed from a plurality of heddle frames 1 are integrally collected in such a manner that flat faces 11 of the heddles 2 may face opposite to each other, then a dummy yarn 4 is inserted simultaneously through heddle eyes provided respectively in the plurality of heddles 2 while they are in a collected state, and then the heddles 2 are individually carried with keeping the contact to the dummy yarn 4, from a collecting position 5 of the heddles 2 to a predetermined individual heddle frame designating means 6.
