Abstract: A metalized fabric and method for metallization of fabric. The fabric is formed using two threads with different affinities for metallization, but which threads are not metalized prior to forming into the fabric. The threads will typically be woven using an unbalanced weave to provide one side of the fabric with a resultant greater amount of metallization than the other but this is not required. Once the resultant fabric is metalized, it will typically be more suitable for consistent color dying than fabric which was formed from both metalized and unmetallized threads.

Abstract: An enhanced char integrity fabric containing a plurality of warp yarns in the warp direction and a plurality of weft yarns in the weft direction. The warp yarns and the weft yarns contain thermoplastic fibers having a melting temperature less than about 300° C. The enhanced char integrity fabric also contains a plurality of char reinforcing yarns in at least the warp direction. The char reinforcing yarns have a different composition than the warp yarns and the weft yarns and contain non-melting fibers having a decomposition temperature greater than 300° C. The char reinforcing yarns are in an amount of less than about 30% wt of the warp yarns and the tensile strength of the char reinforcing yarns is about equal or less than the tensile strength of the warp yarns.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a fabric comprising a warp system and a weft system. The warp system comprises at least one flame retardant yarn comprising aramid fibers and the weft system comprises at least one core spun yarn. The flame retardant yarn of the warp system is covered by at least 70% of the weft system.The fabric according to the present invention has an ink receptive surface and a thermal protection surface, and has particularly excellent mechanical, flame resistance and printability properties due to the structure of its weft and warp systems and the materials used and is particularly useful in confection of combat uniforms. Furthermore, the fabric according to the present invention is also exceptionally abrasion resistant, which prevents the fading of a printed image thereon.

Abstract: A method of manufacturing camouflage clothing worn by soldiers is provided. The optimum camouflage clothing satisfying clothing functionality, aesthetics, and camouflaging effect, which is an important function for military uniforms, is provided while the optimum camouflage clothing is economical. The camouflage clothing is formed by dyeing threads i.e. row material, using the dyed threads as warp threads and weft threads, and weaving the camouflage clothing using a jacquard weaving machine. Herein, the warp threads and the weft threads are gradationally arranged to form a delicate-colored checked pattern while a three-dimensional pattern is displayed by the jacquard weaving machine.

Abstract: A camouflage apparatus includes a mesh adapted to receive twigs, leaves, or the like from a given locale, thus allowing an individual to better blend into local scenery. A first panel-type version includes an adhesive with panel of 2D mesh.
