摘要: The present invention relates generally to a process for co-producing lithium, aluminum, and silicon-oxygen (Si—O) materials, and more particularly, to a process for co-producing lithium, aluminum, and Si—O materials from a hard rock source in the form of a granular concentrate of one or more lithium-containing silicate minerals including spodumene. In particular, there is provided a process for co-producing Li, Al, and Si—O materials from the beta (β) crystallographic form of the Li-containing silicate mineral spodumene, which in its purest state has the composition LiAlSi2O6.

摘要: Cathode material from exhausted lithium ion batteries are dissolved in a solution for extracting the useful elements Co (cobalt), Ni (nickel), Al (Aluminum) and Mn (manganese) to produce active cathode materials for new batteries. The solution includes compounds of desirable materials such as cobalt, nickel, aluminum and manganese dissolved as compounds from the exhausted cathode material of spent cells. Depending on a desired proportion, or ratio, of the desired materials, raw materials are added to the solution to achieve the desired ratio of the commingled compounds for the recycled cathode material for new cells. The desired materials precipitate out of solution without extensive heating or separation of the desired materials into individual compounds or elements. The resulting active cathode material has the predetermined ratio for use in new cells, and avoids high heat typically required to separate the useful elements because the desired materials remain commingled in solution.

摘要: The invention provides a complete set of treatment system and method for deep utilization of dolomite resources. The system includes a primary calcination device, a carbon dioxide capture device, a digestion device, a carbonization separation device, a pyrolysis device and a secondary calcination device; the primary calcination device includes a dolomite calciner, a plurality of hoardings and an exhaust pipe, and an exhaust chamber is formed between the hoardings, the top of the dolomite calciner and the outer wall of the blanking bin; the exhaust chamber is in communication with the carbon dioxide capture device through the exhaust pipe; the carbonization separation device includes a carbonization reaction tank whose gas inlet is in communication with the gas outlet of the carbon dioxide capture device; and the pyrolysis device includes a pyrolysis kettle and a vacuum pump which maintains a negative pressure state in the pyrolysis kettle.

摘要: A pickling production line comprises a material-holding apparatus, a pickling zone, and a water wash zone; the pickling zone and the water wash zone are independently arranged; the material-holding apparatus is filled with magnesium alloy waste, and self-rotates successively in the pickling zone and the water wash zone for pickling and water washing respectively. In the pickling production line for magnesium alloy waste material, the magnesium alloy waste material is pickled and washed more thoroughly; coatings and impurities on the surface of the magnesium alloy waste material are removed, the efficiency of the cleaning and the consistency of the cleaning are high, and each piece of equipment in the entire production line is connected in a compact manner; the invention has a high degree of automation, low environmental pollution, conserves resources, is highly efficient in production, and is suitable for the bulk pickling and cleaning of magnesium alloy waste material.

摘要: The present description relates to a process for extracting magnesium compounds from magnesium-bearing ores comprising leaching serpentine tailing with dilute HCl to dissolve the magnesium and other elements like iron and nickel. The resudial silica is removed and the rich solution is further neutralized to eliminate impurities and recover nickel. Magnesium chloride is transformed in magnesium sulfate and hydrochloric acid by reaction with sulfuric acid. The magnesium sulfate can be further decomposed in magnesium oxyde and sulphur dioxyde by calcination. The sulphur gas can further be converted into sulfuric acid.

摘要: There are provided processes for preparing alumina. These processes can comprise leaching an aluminum-containing material with HCl so as to obtain a leachate comprising aluminum ions and a solid, and separating said solid from said leachate; reacting said leachate with HCl so as to obtain a liquid and a precipitate comprising said aluminum ions in the form of AlCl3, and separating said precipitate from said liquid; and heating said precipitate under conditions effective for converting AlCl3 into Al2O3 and optionally recovering gaseous HCl so-produced. These processes can also be used for preparing various other products such as hematite, MgO, silica and oxides of various metals, sulphates and chlorides of various metals, as well as rare earth elements, rare metals and aluminum.
