摘要: The disclosure relates to poly alpha-1,6-glucan ether compounds comprising poly alpha-1,6-glucan substituted with at least one positively charged organic group and having a degree of substitution of about 0.001 to about 3.0. The poly alpha-1,6-glucan comprises a backbone of glucose monomer units wherein greater than or equal to 40% of the glucose monomer units are linked via alpha-1,6 glycosidic linkages, and optionally about 3% of the backbone glucose monomer units have branches via alpha-1,2 and/or alpha-1,3 glycosidic linkages. Compositions comprising a poly alpha-1,6-glucan ether compound can be useful in various applications.

摘要: The present invention relates to a laundry composition for the removal of stains, which comprises at least one bleaching agent, at least one bleach activator, and a dye transfer inhibitor system comprising a copolymer of 1-vinyl-2-pyrrolidone and 1-vinylim-idazole, and a homopolymer of 1-vinyl-2-pyrrolidone: wherein the weight ratio between the copolymer of 1-vinyl-2-pyrrolidone and 1-vinylimidazole and the homopolymer of 1-vinyl-2-pyrrolidone is of between 1:1 to 5:1. It also relates to a method of washing a garment using the laundry composition and to the use of the laundry composition for the removal of stains from a garment and dye transfer reduction or inhibition from a garment.

The coatings are optionally overlayered onto a substrate to form an active coating facilitating the removal of organic stains or organic material from food, insects, or the environment.

摘要: This invention relates to novel whitening agents for cellulosic substrates. The whitening agents are comprised of at least two components: at least one chromophore component and at least one polymeric component. Suitable chromophore components generally fluoresce blue, red, violet, or purple color when exposed to ultraviolet light, or they may absorb light to reflect these same shades. The whitening agents are further characterized by having a dispersion component value of the Hansen Solubility Parameter of less than or equal to about 17 MPa0.5. This invention also relates to laundry care compositions including but not limited to liquid and/or powder laundry detergent formulations and rinse added fabric softening (RAFS) compositions that comprise such whitening agents.
