摘要: A method for manufacturing an adhesive sheet according to the present invention is a method for manufacturing an adhesive sheet including a long peeling base material 1 and an adhesive layer 2 provided on the peeling base material 1 in the form of an island, the method including a peeling step of, after laminating a long adhesive layer 2 on the peeling base material 1, peeling off an unnecessary portion 6 of the adhesive layer 2 so that a predetermined portion of the adhesive layer is left on the peeling base material 1 in the form of an island, wherein, in the peeling step, the width W of a narrow portion 8, which is the narrowest in width in a short direction of the unnecessary portion 6 of the adhesive layer 2, is adjusted so that the breaking strength in the narrow portion 8 is 200 g or more.

摘要: A cover tape adapted to seal individual components in respective recesses of a carrier tape or a two dimensional carrier tray, including a randomly embossed layer, an adhesive layer covered over one side of the randomly embossed layer, and a non-adhesive layer adhered to the adhesive layer to prevent the components from adhering to the adhesive layer, the randomly embossed layer including an adhesion portion adapted for fastening to the carrier tape through the adhesive layer, a torn strip portion adapted to enhance the cohesive strength of the randomly embossed layer through the non-adhesive layer, and a stress concentration zone disposed between the contact border line of the adhesion portion and the contact border line of the non-adhesive layer, the torn strip portion being peeled off from the adhesion portion along the stress concentration zone before the removal of the encased components from the carrier tape, the applied tearing force to peel off the torn strip portion from the adhesion portion along the stress concentration zone being smaller than the adhesion force existing between the adhesion portion of the randomly embossed layer and the carrier tape through the adhesive layer, and the adhesion force existing between the torn strip portion and the non-adhesive layer through the adhesive layer.

摘要: An adhesive tape comprising an energy beam transmittable base sheet having a surface tension of not more than 40 dyne/cm and an adhesive layer formed on one surface of the base sheet, the adhesive layer comprising a (meth)acrylate polymer, an epoxy resin, a photopolymerizable low molecular weight compound, a heat activatable potential curing agent for the epoxy resin and a photopolymerization initiator for the photopolymerizable low molecular weight compound. The adhesive in the adhesive layer is curable with an energy beam and the so cured adhesive develops tackiness again when heated. When the tape is used in processing a semiconductor wafer, it serves as a dicing tape for holding the wafer in position during the dicing step. Each piece of the diced and cured adhesive layer, that is attached to each chip and capable of being tackified by heating, provides an adhesive required for securely mounting the chip on the lead frame in the die-bonding step.

摘要: A sterilizable package for medical instruments includes bonded first and second sheets of microbe impervious material at least one of which is sufficiently porous to allow the passage of gas therethrough. The first sheet has a flap which is folded over to seal the opening of the pouch. An adhesive sealing tape is bonded to the flap. The sealing tape includes a carrier strip, a first adhesive layer formed from heat seal adhesive and disposed on one side of the carrier strip, and a second adhesive layer formed from pressure sensitive adhesive disposed on an opposite side of the carrier strip. The first adhesive layer forms a heat seal bond between the carrier strip and the first sheet. The sterilizable pouch is resistant to tunneling or rippling of the package material which sometimes occurs during the sterilization process.

摘要: The invention relates to a film composite comprising a thin flexible backing bearing a first layer of adhesive comprising a blend of from 10-99 wt. % of an acrylic latex and from 1 to 90 wt. % of heat-activatable urethane latex, and a second adhesive layer applied on top of said first adhesive layer comprising a pressure-sensitive adhesive exhibiting an initial adhesion as to allow reliable positioning and initial removability of said film composite on a substrate and an adhesion build-up to permanently bond the film composite to the substrate after a prolonged dwell time. The invention further-more relates to the use of a film composite comprising a thin flexible backing bearing a first adhesive layer comprising a blend of from 10-99 wt. % of an acrylic latex from 1 to 90 wt. % of a heat-activatable urethane latex, and optionally bearing a second adhesive layer applied on top of said first adhesive layer, comprising a pressure-sensitive adhesive which exhibits an initial adhesion as to allow reliable positioning and initial removability of the film composite on a substrate and an adhesion build-up to permanently bond the film composite to the substrate after prolonged dwell time, for applying on substrates exposed to organic solvents and, in particular, to fuels for internal combustion engines.

摘要: A self-wound, self-adhesive, resealable tamper-evident tape is provided. The tape is used to seal any container requiring a self-adhesive closure, such as bags or pouches, and provides clear visual evidence if the self-adhesive seal is peeled apart. The tape comprises a backing sheet, the upper surface of which is coated with a release layer, and the bottom surface with an adhesive. The release layer is relatively non-adherent to the adhesive so that the tape may be wound or rolled up without a separating liner. A non-visible patterned varnish layer is applied to the adhesive to create a hard surface onto which an colored ink layer is subsequently applied. The colored ink layer breaks or chips when the self-adhesive seal is peeled apart and retains this appearance if the tape is reapplied to seal the container, thereby providing visible evidence of tampering.
