The purpose of the present invention is to provide: an epoxy resin composition capable of giving cured resins which combine flexural modulus with flexural strain on a high level and have excellent heat resistance; a prepreg comprising the epoxy resin composition and reinforcing fibers; and a fiber-reinforced composite material obtained by curing the prepreg and excellent especially in terms of 0° and 90° bending strength. An embodiment of the epoxy resin composition of the present invention for achieving such purpose is an epoxy resin composition which comprises the following components [A], [B], and [C] and satisfies a specific requirement. Component [A]: a trifunctional amine type epoxy resin. Component [B]: a bisphenol F type epoxy resin which is solid at 25° C. Component [C]: an aromatic amine compound.

Also provided is a method to produce such a prepreg in an industrially advantageous way without being restricted by the types and contents of the matrix resin components used. The mixed material is then heated to a temperature that is above the melting point of the semi-crystalline material and above the glass transition temperature of the amorphous material to form a blended material. The blended material is then extruded through an extruder die for use in the FFF printer.

The present invention relates to a sheet-form prepreg which comprises a plurality of carbon fibers and a matrix resin with which the plurality of carbon fibers are impregnated. This matrix resin contains a thermosetting resin, a curing agent, conductive particles of 1 μm or smaller in diameter, conductive particles of 5 μm or larger in diameter and thermoplastic resin particles, and the conductive particles of 1 μm or smaller in diameter, the conductive particles of 5 μm or larger in diameter and the thermoplastic resin particles are each disproportionately distributed in a specific part of the prepreg.By the present invention, a prepreg from which a carbon fiber-reinforced composite material having both excellent impact resistance and good conductivity in the lamination direction can be produced is provided.
