Abstract:
A method for dispensing a beverage from a bottle that includes communicating a dispensing authorization message from a control unit to at least one of a server interface carried by a beverage server and a pour spout secured to a bottle, wherein the dispensing authorization message at least one of includes or initiates a dispensing command, and wherein the pour spout responds to the dispensing command by opening a spout valve through which a beverage flows from the bottle and out of the pour spout.
Abstract:
A dispenser for two liquids such as liquor and flavoring mounted on a bottle of the first liquid. A container of the second liquid is provided in the dispenser. When the bottle is tilted, a predetermined amount of both liquids are measured in separate measuring containers within the dispenser. When a trigger is pulled, the measured amounts of both liquids are released together so as to mix, while the release of both liquids beyond the measured amounts is blocked.
Abstract:
A tap with a dosing chamber for dosing liquids, in particular for dosing high and medium density liquids, including a body equipped with a connecting part to a container of liquid to be delivered through a liquid delivering passage and a valve that opens and closes the liquid delivering passage with an elastic button that actuates the valve and an air circulating tank in order to vent the liquid container when liquid is dispensed.
Abstract:
A pour spout including a liquid metering orifice and a reciprocating control valve assembly mounted to prevent “blocked”, “short shot” and “free pour” conditions. The control valve assembly controls a pressure differential to restrain and release a primary flow valve piece. Weight pieces are included at alternative shutter-acting control valve pieces. Other electromechanical and/or electromagnetic and/or permanent magnet control valve assemblies are disclosed. A molded pour spout is also provided having a check ball mounted for reciprocating movement between a plurality of integral ribs that project into a longitudinal flow path. An improved vent assembly is also provided to maintain the pour accuracy with progressively decreasing liquid volume.
Abstract:
A controlled dose dispensing valve has two miniature poppet valves that are activated by the movement of a piston in a valve chamber to control the inward and outward flow of a liquid product into and from the valve. By adjusting the travel of the piston, the amount of liquid forced from the chamber is adjusted. The portion size is determined by adjusting the piston travel to the portion size desired. This is accomplished by adjusting the rotational position of a plunger so that one of several shoulders on the stem of a piston activating plunger is either blocked by or moved free of an interfering abutment along the plunger's path of movement.
Abstract:
A system for activating a dosing apparatus to dispense predetermined amounts of a beverage from a bottle and comprising a lever arm containing an annular housing, through which a dosing apparatus is inserted. The lever arm annular housing has an annular electromagnet to control a valve in the dosing apparatus, and an optical reader to identify the type of liquid being dispensed. An electromagnetically operated slidable lock on the lever arm locks the dosing apparatus in position. The dosing apparatus is clamped to the bottle of liquid to be dispensed and has a code on its side such that the optical reader may identify to a controller device the liquid and therefor amount to be dispensed. The lever arm and dosing apparatus are arranged so that depression of the lever arm results in the dispensing of a predetermined liquid amount.
