    摘要: A material output volume detecting device for use in an automated beverage preparation apparatus is disclosed. The material output volume detecting device includes: a damper device arranged to operably buffer liquid material flowing therethrough; and a flowmeter arranged to operably measure the flow of liquid material outputted from the damper device. The damper device includes: a damper base having a material entrance hole, a material exit hole, and a material buffer chamber positioned between the material entrance hole and the material exit hole; a diaphragm covered on the material buffer chamber; and a fastening element positioned on the diaphragm and having a hollow portion. When the volume of liquid material within the material buffer chamber exceeds a predetermined amount, the diaphragm deforms to protrude outward, so that a part of the diaphragm enters the hollow portion of the fastening element.

A nozzle is provided for emptying the metering chamber to a second container having a size comparable to the amount of desired liquid being pumped. A method for dispensing liquid from a bulk container to a smaller container is also provided.

    摘要: A hygienic water server is provided of which lines connected to a raw water container can be sterilized. The water server includes a cold water tank (2) in which drinking water is cooled. The cold water tank can be brought into communication with an exchangeable raw water container (4) through a raw water supply line (6) provided with a pump (7). Air can be introduced into the raw water container (4) through an air intake line (8) to which an ozone generator (9) is connected. The water server further includes a controller (35) adapted to activate the ozone generator (8) while the pump (7) is activated to generate ozone.

The PWM drive signal has a plurality of “on” portions and a plurality of “off” portions that define a first duty cycle for regulating, at least in part, a flow rate of a pump assembly. At least a portion of the “on” portions of the PWM drive signal are pulse width modulated to define a second duty cycle for the at least a portion of the “on” portions of the PWM drive signal. The second duty cycle regulates, at least in part, the percentage of the defined voltage potential applied to the pump assembly.
