The straddle fork vehicle is designed such that the frame may accommodate, or straddle, agricultural harvesting pallets between the set of treads in a passthrough through area beneath the frame as the vehicle progresses down a field row. Engine configuration and improved braking systems facilitate a safer construction and tighter turning radius.

According to the invention, the first and the second chassis sections (21a, 21b) are arranged adjacent along a first adjustment axis (E1) and are mechanically connected to one another such that the spacing between same can be varied, and the spacing between the first and second chassis sections (21a, 21b) is adjustable along a first adjustment axis (E1) by controlling at least one of the mecanum wheel drives (2; 2a, 2b, 2c, 2d) of the first chassis section (21a) and/or of the second chassis section (21b) by means of the control means (13).

    摘要： A roll assembly according to one example embodiment includes a rotatable input shaft. The input shaft is supported by a housing. At least one gear is mounted on the input shaft. A carrier frame is mounted on the input shaft and rotatable independent of the input shaft. A plurality of rolls is rotatably mounted about a periphery of the carrier frame. An axial direction of rotation of each roll is transverse to the rotational axis of the input shaft. Each roll has a contact surface and a gear face that is operatively coupled to the at least one gear. A first one-way clutching surface is positioned between one of (1) at least a portion of the rolls and the carrier frame, (2) the carrier frame and the input shaft, (3) the carrier frame and a portion of the housing, and (4) a combination thereof.
