摘要: An apparatus and method for performing a load test in an elevator installation having an elevator car and a counterweight, which are connected to one another by a supporting device, and a drive brake for halting the elevator car during a downwards journey. The apparatus has a connecting element for fastening to the counterweight, an element with spring properties and a tensioning device for installation in the elevator installation. One point of the tensioning means is fixed to a stationary point of the elevator installation via the element with spring properties. Another point of the tensioning means is connected to the counterweight via the connecting element, wherein the tensioning device includes an actuating device with which to tension the element with spring properties in order to thereby exert a downwardly directed tensile stress on the counterweight.

摘要: A diagnostic display system for indicating the status of elevator system operating conditions develops signals representing each operating condition and detects when a car is delayed in responding to a request for service. Signals representing each operating condition are stored when a delayed car response is detected so that the status of the operating conditions as they were at the time of delayed car response can be displayed at a later time.

摘要: A safety device of a lift system may include a car comprising an evaluation device and a measuring device. Conditions where departure from a door zone with an open car door or where impermissible accelerations/speeds are reached within the door zone are identifiable by way of the evaluation device and output signals from the measuring device. In such conditions, a control signal may be generated for braking the car. A safety circuit may be connected to the evaluation device and ensure a first safe zone in a shaft head of a lift shaft during an inspection run. The safety circuit may have a safety switch, and the car may include a tripping means for tripping the safety switch. The safety switch and the tripping means have a first relative position upon which the first safe zone is based, and entry of the car into the first safe zone during the inspection run is preventable by tripping the safety switch, which leads to generation of the control signal and braking of the car.

摘要: A safety switching for elevator systems includes a safety function and a safety switch dedicated to the safety function. The safety switch opens or closes a safety circuit between one connection point and a second connection point as a function of a safety state of the safety function. A test function tests whether or not the safety switch opens and closes the safety circuit as a function of the safety state of the safety function. A detection device is provided for the test function. An auxiliary energy function is provided wherein an auxiliary voltage can be temporarily applied via at least the safety switch and an input part of the detection device for performing the test function. Locally between the connection points the auxiliary energy function introduces an auxiliary energy for generating the auxiliary voltage. The safety switching can be used for converting or retrofitting an existing elevator system.

摘要: A method for testing operation of an elevator including an elevator car includes starting movement of the elevator car; and thereafter starting a stopping sequence for stopping movement of the elevator car; and monitoring movement of the elevator car, the monitoring preferably including monitoring acceleration of the elevator car; and detecting a predefined response in movement of the elevator car, the predefined response preferably being cease of acceleration of the elevator car; and determining time elapsed between the starting a stopping sequence and the detected predefined response in movement of the elevator car, wherein the response is preferably cease of acceleration, for thereby determining reaction time of the elevator; and comparing the time elapsed with at least one reference, such as with at least one predefined threshold. An elevator is provided for implementing the method.

摘要: The monitoring method for an elevator installation includes a control unit and at least one bus junction, which bus junction has a receiver, a transmitter and a safety element. The control unit and the bus junction communicate by way of a bus. The monitoring method has the following steps: a digital default signal is transmitted by the control unit to the receiver; the digital default signal is converted by the receiver into an analog signal; the safety element is acted on by the receiver with the analog signal; if the safety element is closed the analog signal is detected by the transmitter; for a detected analog signal, a digital signal of the control unit is provided by the transmitter; wherein on detection of an analog zero signal a digital signal is transmitted by the transmitter to the control unit.

摘要: A brake (42) is tested in an elevator system (10) including a car (12) and a counterweight (14) connected to the car (12) by a rope (16). The car (12) is positioned at a reference position in the hoistway (HW) adjacent to a hoistway limit switch (23), and the brake (42) is engaged to hold the car (12) at the reference position. The rotating member (46) is then driven to provide a testing force on the brake (42) that simulates a load in the elevator car (12) of at least a maximum rated load for the car (12). The brake test is terminated if the hoistway limit switch (23) is actuated.

摘要: Provided is an operation confirmation device for an electric actuator for an emergency stop device that can improve maintainability of an electric device portion. The operation confirmation device for the electric actuator for the emergency stop device confirms operation of an electric actuator (10). The electric actuator actuates a drive mechanism that drives the elevator emergency stop device, and includes a movable element (34a, 34b, 34c) mechanically connected to the drive mechanism, an electromagnet (35a, 35b) facing the movable element, and a mechanism portion (36, 41) configured to convert rotation of a motor (37) into linear movement of the electromagnet. The operation confirmation device includes: a position detector (109) configured to detect a position of the movable element; and a controller (7) configured to detect a failure of the motor based on a position detection signal from the position detector. The controller issues a command to rotate the motor during standby of the electric actuator, and then detects the failure of the motor based on the position detection signal.
