    摘要： The tool of the invention includes a wire packing element which is set in abutment with the side of carding wire being wound onto a carding drum end forces the other side of the wire into abutting fit with the previously wound wrap of wire. While so doing, the tool subjects the portion of wire just received by the drum's surface to numerous impacts while still forcing the aforesaid abutments. It is believed that these impacts alternating with reliefs from the added force causes the wire to shift minutely to attain the stablest configuration which would then not shift during use of the clothed carding cylinder but retain the desired patterning of points through long termed use.

    摘要： A method and an apparatus employing a formed guide shoe assembly controls the placement of successive convolutions of elastomer-coated wire on a bead-winding drum. The guide shoe assembly is not rotatable but accommodates the softly coated wire slidably along an extended curvilinear groove to initial contact with the winding drum or with preceding convolutions of coated wire thereon. A convergent channel in the assembly ensures safe smooth approach to the curvilinear groove. The foregoing abstract is not to be taken as limiting the invention of this application, and in order to understand the full nature and extent of the technical disclosure of this application, reference must be made to the accompanying drawing and the following detailed description.

    摘要： This apparatus winds wire on a reel in layers and controls the winding by the traverse movement of sheaves over which the wire passes on its way to the reel. A first guide sheave is traversed mechanically but its position is controled by a proximity switch. After passing over the mechanically traversed guide sheave, the wire travels around a free floating guide sheave, and then around the reel ahead of the layer of wire that is being wrapped. The wire or cable then travels back to a second free floating sheave that moves according to the winding of the wire of each layer on the reel. The shift of this second free floating sheave controls the mechanical traverse in accordance with the movement of a light beam which is responsive to the movement of the second free floating sheave.

    摘要： The present invention provides an improved seed mechanism of a coil winding machine having a roller with a sharp edge to contact with pressure a feed shaft which rotates at a constant speed. The roller is mounted at a lower end of a vertical shaft in a traveler which moves along an axis of the feed shaft. The vertical shaft is supported rotatably by the traveler and has a guide grooved pulley to guide a metallic wire. The roller moves on the feed shaft spirally together with directional deviation of the grooved pulley caused from a minute change of winding direction of the metallic wire on a bobbin owing to a natural habit of the metallic wire to be wound as the traveler moves gradually, such that when finishing the winding of layer a coil layer obliqueness of the roller is reversed in compliance with the natural habit of the metallic wire so as to reverse the moving direction of the traveler.
