摘要: An inflatable storage container (100) for liquids or other bulk materials comprises a first portion (5) that defines abase and a second portion (4) that defines a perimeter wall that extends from a perimeter of the base, the two portions together forming an inflatable chamber. The perimeter wall comprises at least one layer of cloth that has been impregnated with a water-settable material. In use, after or when the inflatable chamber is inflated and the water-settable material is set, the first portion and second portion define a storage chamber for a liquid or other bulk material. A method of deploying a deployable storage container is also provided. A combination of a container and an inflation system suitable for inflating the container to form its final deployed shape prior to the water-settable material having set is further provided.

摘要: A water treatment tank is constructed from several adjoining intermodal containers (ICs). The adjoining ICs are angularly disposed relative to each other so as to surround a tank area. Each IC has a reinforced sidewall defining a tank wall or tank wall part. A bracing structure is attached to ICs end walls at each junction between adjoining ICs. The tank having a liner supported at the sidewalls and covering the ground at the tank area.

摘要: Heavy hydrocarbon oil having a pour point higher at least than the environmental temperature is loaded into a storage vessel in a state heated up to a temperature above its pour point and is cooled down to a temperature below the pour point to be stored in a solidified form in the vessel. In unloading the heavy hydrocarbon oil stored in the solidified form in the vessel, the upper portion of the oil in the vessel is heated up to a temperature above its pour point, and the successively fluidized oil portions are pumped out of the vessel.

In an exemplary embodiment, a liner or lining includes a bottom sheet and a plurality of side sheets. At least one pair of adjacent side sheets is joined by an extrusion weld along an interface between the pair of adjacent side sheets. The extrusion weld is coupled to at least one mechanical fastener which is coupled to at least one structural component such that the pair of adjacent side sheets is anchored to the structural component.

摘要: An underground storage tank is lined in situ by first clearing the inner surface of the tank using water jetting. The surface is then inspected and grit blasted. A corrosion barrier coating in the form of glass flakeepoxy resin is applied to a minimum dry film thickness of 1000 microns. An adhesive is applied to the barrier coating and sheets of an HDPE interstitial grid are bonded to the adhesive forming an air gap of about 5 mm. A pliable glass reinforced plastic layer is laid upon the grid. The GRP material is exposed to UV lamps to form an impermeable shell within the tank. A surface coating layer may be applied. A leak detector is installed in the interstitial space defined by the grid.
