摘要: A method and equipment determine braking-relevant actual values for a train composed of a plurality of wagons, in particular a rail vehicle, for the performance of controlled-retardation braking of the train, in which at least the longitudinal retardation is taken into account as an actual value, from which, using a retardation controller, in accordance with a predefined target value of a desired break retardation, an actuating value compensating for the control deviation is determined for an actuator of the brake, in that the longitudinal retardation is measured by a plurality of retardation sensors positioned along the train in at least two different wagons to determine the respective local longitudinal retardation, the longitudinal retardation based on the entire train then being calculated as an actual value by a central measured value detection unit.

摘要: A parking brake control method for an electromechanical brake system of an urban rail vehicle includes an operation instruction mechanism, a brake control mechanism, an electromechanical actuating mechanism and an auxiliary mechanism. The operation instruction mechanism outputs a control signal to the brake control mechanism to drive the action of the electromechanical actuating mechanism so as to achieve braking application and relief of the vehicle. The auxiliary mechanism is used for a redundant power supply system of a brake system. The auxiliary mechanism further includes a zero-speed state monitoring mechanism for monitoring a zero-speed state of the vehicle and an energy storage battery mechanism for providing a backup power supply. The parking brake control method enables an urban rail vehicle using an electromechanical brake system to achieve brake application and relief in a parked state and achieve brake application and relief in a dormant state of the urban rail vehicle.

摘要: Disclosed embodiments relate to a method for calibrating a coordinate system of a multi-axis deceleration sensor in a rail vehicle, including calibrating the vertical axis of the sensor to the vertical axis of the vehicle, measuring the acceleration along the longitudinal and transverse axis of the sensor during a braking process of the rail vehicle at a low speed and at a standstill over a time curve, determining an offset vector at a standstill, the offset vector consisting partly of a component in the longitudinal direction and partly of a component in the transverse direction of the sensor and representing the influence of the gravitational acceleration on the measured acceleration of the rail vehicle, and ascertaining at least one resulting acceleration vector of the coordinate system of the sensor about the vertical axis of the sensor such that the at least one resulting acceleration vector faces the vehicle longitudinal direction.

摘要: A retaining valve includes an inlet and a valve member downstream from the inlet, wherein the valve member has first, second, and third positions. A first passage through the valve member allows fluid flow through the retaining valve when the valve member is in the first position. A second passage through the valve member allows fluid flow through the retaining valve when the valve member is in the second position. A third passage through the valve member allows fluid flow through the retaining valve when the valve member is in the third position. A slide moves with respect to the valve member in response to pressure at the inlet. A spring engaged with the slide biases the slide toward the inlet. A seal located at an axial midpoint of the slide prevents flow through the third passage when pressure at the inlet is less than a predetermined pressure.

摘要: A brake cylinder maintaining system includes a main valve comprising a first diaphragm, a second diaphragm, and a valve member, with the first diaphragm having a reference pressure on one side of the first diaphragm and a brake cylinder pressure on an opposite side of the first diaphragm. The second diaphragm having a brake cylinder pressure on one side of the second diaphragm with the first diaphragm configured to move between a first position and a second position based on a differential between the reference pressure and the brake cylinder pressure. The valve member is configured to place a brake cylinder in fluid communication with a brake pipe when the first and second diaphragm are each in the second position and configured to isolate a brake cylinder from a brake pipe when the first diaphragm or the second diaphragm are in the first position.

摘要: A computer controlled locomotive brake (CCB) configured for setting and releasing the automatic parking brakes of the railcars of a train. The CCB may initially recharge the brake pipe to a pressure slightly less than the parking brake unlatch pressure. The CCB may then continue charging to this level until the brake pipe flow, measured at the CCB on the controlling locomotive and the brake pipe pressure on the last car, as measured by an end of train device, indicate that the pressure in the braking system reservoirs are substantively equal to the brake pipe pressure. Once the reservoirs are substantively charged, the CCB may complete the brake release and recharge by recharging the brake pipe pressure to its final charge so that all parking brakes are released and the train has sufficient braking system recharge to safely control movement of the train.
