摘要： A corner die-molding portion of a glass run includes an outer peripheral portion to cover an end flange portion of an outer panel of a door, a holding portion having one end portion connected to an inner surface of the outer peripheral portion, and a supporting portion provided between the holding portion and the inner surface of the outer peripheral portion. An inner space and its opening are provided between the outer peripheral portion and the holding portion such that, when the glass run is attached to a window frame, the end flange portion of the outer panel is inserted into the inner space from the opening, and then the supporting portion is brought into abutment against a tip end of the end flange portion of the outer panel. It is possible to suppress flexural deformation of the outer peripheral portion, thereby improving the glass run in external appearance.

摘要： A method of forming a unitary perimeter seal for attachment at a fixed window panel of a slider window assembly of a vehicle includes forming upper, lower and side sealing portions each having elongated body portions and sealing lips extending substantially therealong. The upper and lower sealing portion are arranged with first ends adjacent a respective end of a first side sealing portion and second ends adjacent a respective end of a second side sealing portion. The sealing portions are arranged so as to result in a perimeter frame that circumscribes an opening for the slider window assembly. Corner regions are molded at and partially over adjacent ends of the elongated body portions of the sealing portions, such that the corner regions include a curved sealing lip that provides a transition between the sealing lips of the adjacent ends of the sealing portions.

摘要： An outer lip is continuous with an outer-cabin side wall which has a linear shape of a hollow seal member. The outer lip makes elastic contact with a surface of a body in a direction substantially perpendicular when a door is closed. A rear lip extends from a position close to a base root of the outer lip toward an outer-cabin side and makes elastic contact with a peripheral edge of the door. A thickness of the outer-cabin side wall of the hollow seal member is not less than a thickness of a vertical part of the outer lip; and an inner-cabin side surface of the outer-cabin side wall of the hollow seal member is closer to an inside of the automobile than an inner-cabin side surface of the vertical part of the outer lip.

摘要： A seal system includes one or more corner seals and a sill seal attachable to the corner seal(s). The sill seal includes a horizontal portion, an outer flange depending from the horizontal portion, an oblique portion extending obliquely from the horizontal portion, and an inner flange extending upwardly from the horizontal portion. A wiper extends upwardly from the inner flange. The inner flange and oblique portion cooperate to form a trough. One or more weep holes are formed in the inner flange to allow for communication of water from the trough to the other side of the inner flange.

摘要： Corner structure of a hollow chamber seal includes a filler piece which is situated in a corner area of the hollow chamber seal. Filler piece supports the hollow chamber seal, with deformation, and diverts supporting forces into a component on which the hollow chamber seal is situated. Corner structure reliably prevents deformation of the hollow chamber seal, even after extended use, is easy to manufacture, and is aesthetic. Filler piece has a base which is adjoined by a T-shaped head made of an elastomeric material, and the head of the filler piece when installed protrudes into the hollow chamber seal through a slit which is introduced into the hollow chamber seal, and is supported on a wall of the hollow chamber seal oppositely situated from the component, with deformation. Base is supported on the component and diverts the supporting forces on the head into the component.
