Abstract:
This invention discloses an automatic locking device for snow anti-skid chains. Wherein the snow anti-skid chain comprises a ratchet wheel lock catch and a anti-skid chain; the anti-skid chain is respectively fixed at the buckle and the outer part of the housing aforesaid, and extends towards three directions. The ratchet wheel lock catch is used to make the anti-skid chain to attach to automobile tires firmly and is controlled by pressing two buttons on its lower side, which is different from existing operational actions of braking off and twisting. The pressing action is simple and available for one hand operation. The overall structure is simple and reliable, conforming to use habits of control actions by users.
Abstract:
There is provided a traction cover for a wheel. The wheel has an axle, a tire, and a tire support that supports the tire, and the cover has a tread body having an inner engagement surface and an outer tread surface, the inner engagement surface being sized to engage an outer drive surface of the tire. The cover also has attachment points carried by the inner engagement surface of the tread body, an anchor secured relative to the tire support, and one or more attachment members attached between the anchor and the attachment points of the tread body.
Abstract:
An anti-skid system for vehicle wheels includes gripping elements which are intended to make contact with the tread of the wheel and are arranged at the free ends of arms joined to a central connecting body, a clamping element (15) apt to be fastened to the rim of the wheel, and a constraining assembly able to establish a connection between the arms (21, 22) and the clamping element (15), the arms (21, 22) being in the form of flexible laminar strips and the constraining assembly including at least one linear traction member (30) which is non-extendable, but adjustable lengthwise; an advantageous clamping element (15) which makes the system more cost-effective and mounting thereof on the wheel more convenient is also described.
Abstract:
A link member for a tire chain, comprising a body including a cavity for receiving a portion of a ring element therein, the body also including an opening for inserting the ring element into the cavity, said body further being adapted to receive a retaining member for closing the opening and retaining the ring element in the cavity.
Abstract:
An anti-skid device (1) with mounting from the outside is described, comprising: a central hub (2) designed to be disposed to coincide with the wheel hub (101), a plurality of arms (20) protruding radially from the hub (2) and ending in terminal elements (21) designed to be disposed on the tyre tread, portions of chain (3) connected to the terminal elements (21) so as to form a ring on the tyre tread, an adapter device (5) adapted to be fixed to a wheel-fixing bolt (102) and carrying a tensioning strap (7) which passes through the hub (2) of the anti-skid device (1) to be tensioned by the user so as to move the hub (2) of the anti-skid device (1) towards the hub (101) of the wheel, a tensioning device (8) connected to the hub (2) of the anti-skid device (1), adapted to be operated by the user, to tension and to lock the tensioning strap (7).The tensioning device (8) is a jack-type device which allows the strap (7) to be pulled in the tensioning direction and does not allow it to slip in the loosening direction.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a nonskid device for the wheels of vehicles, comprising a holding element (1) situated in the region of the wheel axis and used with elastic holding arms (2) holding a chain mesh (4). According to the invention, a tension cable (7) is used to introduce tension forces into the holding arms (2). In order to introduce a defined tensile stress into the tension cable (7), said tension cable is connected to a pivotable tension lever (12).
Abstract:
The anti-skid device includes a housing capable of being removably fastened on an outer side of a vehicle wheel. An anti-skid travel path, formed of chains, is connected to a plurality of radial arms of the housing. The chains are automatically positioned on the wheel of the vehicle upon advancement of the vehicle, when an elastic member extending through the housing pulls the housing in a direction towards the wheel. A lever is provided between the housing and the wheel and includes an extension which extends through a radial passage of a fastening device connected to a nut of the wheel.
Abstract:
An anti-skid device for a vehicle wheel is provided comprising an axial part having a plurality of arms extending therefrom which are attached to an anti-skid assembly, such as a snow chain arrangement. The axial part includes a securing device which rotates freely relative to the axial part for securing the anti-skid device to the vehicle wheel. Thus, the rotary motion of the anti-skid assembly around the wheel is not transferred to the securing device.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a one-touch-type snow chain which is to be fixed onto a wheel and which is compatible with cars and trucks, including: a mounting plate that is mounted onto a wheel of a vehicle; multiple fixing stoppers that are coupled to one another at intervals along an edge of the mounting plate and have a first friction portion formed to extend so as to be in contact with an outer circumferential surface of a tire and generate friction with the ground; and a folding stopper which is coupled so as to be positioned between the fixing stoppers at the edge of the mounting plate, which has a second friction portion formed in to extend so as to be in contact with the outer circumferential surface of the tire and generate friction with the ground, which has a hinge coupling portion disposed such that the second friction portion can be separated outwardly from the outer circumferential surface of the tire, and which is returned by elastic force such that the second friction portion is in contact with the outer circumferential surface of the tire.
