A powder supplying device (2) includes a case (6) in which a storage portion (6a) is formed for temporarily storing powder (10), the case (6) having an inlet (6b) formed in an upper end of the storage portion (6a), and a rectangular outlet (6c) formed in a lower end of the storage portion (6a); a rotor (7) that is arranged in the case (6) and transports the powder (10) in the storage portion (6a) to the outlet (6c) by rotating; and a mesh body (8) through which the powder (10) that has been transported to the outlet (6c) passes. The powder supplying device (2) supplies the powder (10) onto an upper surface of an electrode foil (5). The rotor (7) has a brush-like shape, with a plurality of hair members (7b) radially implanted pointing radially outward with an axial center (G) of the rotor (7) as the center.

A method for continuous production of tablets, including providing a contained module comprising at least two inlets, at least one mixing unit, at least one analytical sensor, a tablet press, and at least one outlet for tablets, feeding an active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) to one of the at least two inlets, feeding an excipient to the other of the at least two inlets, mixing the material stream comprising the API and the excipient in the at least one mixing unit, measuring parameters of the contents of the material stream with the at least one analytical sensor upstream of the tablet press, controlling the two inlets and/or the mixing unit in response to the parameters measured, continuously supplying the tablet press with the material stream, controlling the speed of the tablet press in response to the parameters measured upstream of the tablet press, and discharging tablets at the at least one outlet.

A filling apparatus comprises a filling material reservoir and a filling chamber that is connected to the filling material reservoir with a filling opening configured to dispense filling material into cavities in the rotary press. A first rotatably driven stirrer blade wheel with one or more stirrer blades and a second rotatably driven stirrer blade wheel with one or more stirrer blades are arranged in the filling chamber. The first rotatably driven stirrer blade wheel has at least one of a different geometry, a different direction of rotation, or a different rotary speed, than the second rotatably driven stirrer blade wheel.

The contained module (1) comprises inlets for an active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) and for an excipient. The inlets are in fluid communication with at least one mixing unit (41,46), and the outlet of the tablet press (6) is in fluid communication with the releasable outlet port for tablets. The material stream comprising the API and the excipient is mixed in the mixing units. During operation parameters of the contents of the material stream are measured with one or more analytical sensors upstream of the tablet press. The speed of the tablet press is controlled in response to the parameters measured upstream of the tablet press. The finished tablets are discharged at an outlet of the tablet press (6).

The quality of the briquettes granulated by a briquetting machine is improved. A briquetting machine control device samples the briquette that have been produced to measure an apparent density and a crush strength of the sampled briquette (step S10), and controls each operation set value adjusting unit (4, 6, 7) of the briquetting machine so that the actual measurement values come closer to predefined briquette quality target values (step S20 to step S60).

IMPROVEMENT INTRODUCED IN APPARATUS FOR BRIQUETTING DRY CRUSHED CANE AND OTHER BAGASSES constituted by reception, on upper and lower deflector plates of feed hopper, of dry crushed cane and other bagasses, broken up by rotating shaft bearing long and short rods for capture by collector blades of distributor screw driven by geared electric motor, the same being forced into guide tubes having endless screws of progressively smaller pitch driven by geared electric motor for the purpose of precompaction of said dry crushed cane and other bagasses in precompaction chamber, being compressed by compactor pistons within cylindrical tube having a slightly conical base forming briquette, said pistons being driven through the action of crankshaft supported by block driven by large electric motor, the finished briquettes passing through guide arms being ruptured by curved rods, the development whereof permitting the obtainment of an apparatus having simple operation and compact size permitting conversion of dry crushed cane and other bagasses into briquettes of differentiated sizes, called “Bripell”, suitable for use in industrial furnaces and boilers and in residential fireplaces.

Provided is a cooked rice molding apparatus which ensures that a formed cooked rice product falls while keeping almost the same posture without inclining. Part of a concave molding surface 420 of a forming roller 410 is open toward an end surface of the forming roller 410 and a groove-like guide portion 460 is provided in a pair of supporting panels 450 which support both end surfaces of the forming roller 410, whereby part of cooked rice compressed within the concave molding surface 420 and pushed out of both ends of the concave molding surface 420 is received by a guide portion 460 and part of the rice ball is caused to fall along the guide portion 460.

An apparatus for and a method of feeding powders to a subsequent processing step. In particular, the apparatus includes a first hopper, a first metering brush feed, an intermediate chamber, a second distribution brush, a level sensor, and a supply hopper to deliver powder to a pair of rollers. In one embodiment, the hopper is fitted to the roller diameter to produce a uniform, ribbon or free-standing sheets suitable for air-breathing battery and fuel cell electrodes.
