摘要: The invention relates to a portable device (1) for amplifying an axial force applied to a tool, which includes: means (100) for linking the device to a user; means (2) for guiding the tool (4) it translation along a longitudinal axis (X); means for actuating the tool, including a drain (5) provided with a motor (6) and a rope (7) rigidly connected to the tool (4) and forming at least one turn (8) around the drum (5); and means for controlling the actuating means in order to apply a force to the tool in response to a force provided by the user via a control member. The means (100) for linking, tile device to the user and the means (2) for guiding the tool (4) in translation allow the tool (4) to rotate freely about the longitudinal axis (X) and about at least one axis (Z, Y) extending in a plane (P) which is normal to the longitudinal axis (X).

摘要: A method of retrieving a tool bit from a tool bit case includes supporting the tool bit with a bit retainer of the tool bit case at an oblique angle relative to a bottom surface of the tool bit case so that a drive portion of the tool bit extends generally away from the bottom surface, engaging the drive portion of the tool bit with a driver while the tool bit is supported by the bit retainer, and removing the tool bit from the bit retainer by manipulating the driver.

摘要: A coating system includes a coating source and a planetary manipulator assembly that includes a first driveshaft capable of receiving rotational input, a sun gear rotationally fixed to the first driveshaft, a planetary gear engaged with the sun gear, a second driveshaft rotationally fixed to the planetary gear such that torque is transmitted from the sun gear to the planetary gear, a support shaft operatively engaged with the second driveshaft, a carrier body supporting the planetary gear relative to the sun gear, a third driveshaft capable of receiving rotational input, and a drive gear rotationally fixed to the third driveshaft. The support shaft is arranged substantially perpendicular to the second driveshaft. The carrier body is rotatable by the drive gear about a common axis with the sun gear, and rotation of the carrier body rotates the planetary gear and the second driveshaft about the sun gear.

A head of the device can be rotated between a first configuration for inserting the device into the casting, and a second configuration for securing the device to the casting. Methods of using the device are also provided.

摘要: The present invention provides a handheld robot for orthopedic surgery and a control method thereof. The handheld robot of the present invention includes a main body, a grip, a kinematic mechanism, a tool connector, a tool, a force sensor and a positioning unit. The handheld robot of the present invention combines the position/orientation information of the tool acquired by the positioning unit with the force/torque information acquired by the force sensor, and utilizes the combined information to adjust the position of the tool so as to keep the tool within the range/path of a predetermined operation plan. In this way, the precision of the orthopedic surgery can be enhanced, and the error occurred during the surgery can be minimized.
